Our December 20th reservation was deeply underwhelming. Despite booking well in advance, we were relegated to a cold porch, isolated from the festive ambiance & live music. The physical discomfort of the seating & temperature, which necessitated several trips inside to warm up, was compounded by the fact that the main dining rooms remained largely vacant. Also, three chicken entrees were poorly executed, remaining dry & unpalatable even after being remade. We left feeling undervalued.

The fried green tomatoes were downright delicious, and the gumbo came in a portion big enough to make a second meal—I gladly took it to go. Everything was full of Southern flavor and hospitality. The staff were so welcoming, and my waitress was an absolute sweetheart. She even shared a lovely story about her experience at the Biltmore, which made the whole visit feel personal and memorable. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Set us in patio area. Cold, food wrong, food cold. 3 of our party got wrong order. Took 30 minutes to get new food out. Was cold again. They took it off bill, or said they were going to. Them added it back on bill. Horrible experience! Never going back to this slopes shop.

The food was not seasoned well. The steak was cooked without seasoning. Then they soaked it in some sauce. The Sauce taste okay. They gave me a baked potato with no sour cream or butter. The horrible part is that a glass of soda which was filled with ice costs over $4!

The food was excellent, as was the waiter. The entire staff treated us as Royalty because we told them this was our 51st anniversary.

Low to medium grade ribeye steak that was waaaaaaaay overpriced. Better quality steak at longhorn for half the price.

Loved the food! I had the BBQ ribs and grits and both were outstanding. Very tender ribs and cheesy grits. Loved it! Also the corn & crab bisque was very flavorful. Only wish there was more crab in it, but the flavor was rich enough that I really can't complain. Would 100% go again next time I'm in Greensboro. 😊 P.s. our waiter was very attentive and kind and there was a live singer there across from our table who had such a great voice, sang oldies, and had a lovely demeanor. Very nice atmosphere.

Me and my friends were sorely disappointed. The only thing good was the music. Our Anniversary couple ordered the Grouper Fish. Not only was it late coming to the table, it was NOT FRESH! My husband ordered the short ribs and was under seasoned. Sigh... I order the thin as a wafer terrible crab cake. I can go on and on. Even my dessert sucked. The chocolate ice cream cake was brick hard. Steak Street what happened on Friday September 26th...(reservation for 8) Was the chef on vacation and they had the wait staff cooking? And yeah... my waiter. I felt tilted with the 18% I had to pay. In summary for an evening that we thought was going to memorable and fun... the food was disappointing. It was the worst food I've had this year. The worst $110.00 I have EVER SPENT. I will not be returning.
