I wanted to like this place, but what i got was not up to par with other bakeries in the area. The cake and frosting tasted like it was pre-packaged. The building had a strong smell of mold.
I would say treats here are hit or miss. We tried several things. The red velvet is definitely not what I would call authentic. It tasted like a cake mix. We loved the vanilla and chocolate boy cookies (like Keebler elves) and oatmeal crème pies.
Service was good.
My biggest complaint is with all of the gnats flying in all of the bakery cases, right around all the goodies. This seems very unsanitary and just not an appealing look as I’m watching them fly all...

Friendly, long term staff.
Pretty famous in HP as it's been here for many decades.
Prices on seasonal cookies really high....over a dollar for ONE sugary cookie.
Interior could stand a facelift and floor a good cleaning.
