Best Nigiri in the Triad area. Salmon or Tuna deluxe is my go to.

The drunken noodles were okay. The spring rolls were a bit bland. I did love the Rangoon.

The food was acceptable. However, not one staff member smiled, said hello, please, thank you or you're welcome! WHAT? People were served who came in after us, therefore we were there awhile, and our initial drinks were not refilled. We were completely confused. But now know if we go again, to order EVERYTHING UPFRONT, and to not expect manners of any kind!

I loved how modernized the restaurant was. Hunny and I decided to sit outside since the weather was beautiful. The waitresses were very attentive and helpful. The food was mediocre for my taste. Not as authentic as he hyped it to be. I had a feeling once the soup and eggroll came out =| but I still cleaned up the plate.

Went for lunch and did the drunken noodles, I enjoyed that dish. The lunch options come with a tofu type soup and a basic spring roll. I did the papaya salad which stated it had ground peanuts but it also had whole peanuts and it overpowered the taste to me.My husband did the chicken pho. He said it was good base but lacked flavor. The interior is nice and bright.

Basil Leaf has beautiful ambience. The site has a cool European feel with lovely lighting and a cute bar area. Our party had multiple dishes and it was a mixed bag flavorwise. The Orange Dragon Roll was a big hit. Very fresh and interesting flavors with the tempura shrimp filling. Spring rolls were cooked well but would really benefit from additional seasonings. They were just a little bland. Sweet and sour chicken was cooked nicely and vegetables were perfectly crisp. Chicken was tender and delicious, but again, the dish just lacked flavor. Teriyaki steak was a nice dish but the steak was medium rare rather than the medium ordered. That may just be the chef's preference. Full disclosure, the Teriyaki steak dish was prepared as a gluten free, so overall the flavor was not exactly as expected but the chef tried to accommodate. Cut of the steak was good quality. Overall a nice experience, but we weren't wowed by the food. Thai food should burst with flavor and these dishes were just okay. I'm leaving a 4 star review because the atmosphere was really lovely and we will give them another chance with the food.

If you love long shiny locks of brunette hair... this is the place for you!!! There truly needs to be an option for 0 stars. 1 star is even too much for this establishment. We were a party of 2. We ordered 2 waters, fresh spring rolls, 2 sushi rolls and chicken house fried rice. The waitress was quick to the table when we arrived. We ordered first ordered the waters and fresh roll appetizer. They came out quickly. The waitress did not take the rest of our order upon dropping off the fresh rolls. I ate half of one roll. We waited about 6-8 minutes for the waitress to come back for the rest of our order. After ordering the remainder of our food, I proceeded to eat the other half of my fresh roll. Raw rice paper wrappers are very sticky if you've never had fresh rolls. The area the paper overlaps is kind of thick and extra sticky. Well there was a very long black hair on the other half of that room that I just so happened to have just took a bite from. The hair, still stuck in the wrapper, pulled out of my mouth. I will not go into further detail on how that felt but I wanted to vomit! I waited to for a waitress to come back out but it took forever. I stood to go into the restaurant (we sat outside) two waitresses came out. I stood there with the plate in my hand and neither acknowledged me. Both of the about to walk back into the restaurant, I had to say "excuse me" to even be noticed. I explained and showed the hair. The response I received was "Sorry. Do you want another or to take it off the bill?" I said I didn't want another and she just immediately turned and walked away. As if me not wanting more food was an issue. We waited for one of them to come back out to say that we no longer wanted any food but no one ever came. Given we only had water, we got up and walked away. The waitress quickly ran out the door and started take long photos of us and our vehicle. We stopped the vehicle and I got out, walked back into the restaurant and asked them why they felt it okay to photograph me. They all ran to the back. The waitress finally came out just to say she didn't know why she was photographing me but if it made me feel any better, the photo was blurry. A very rude older Asian lady came out to say I was running out on my bill. I informed her that my appetizer had hair in it and the only other thing we received was 2 waters. She loudly said that I walked out on the rest of my food and proceeded to point behind the sushi counter to the chef making my sushi I said that I no longer wanted any food from their establishment given the hair, it completely ruining my appetite, the unconcerned waitress, their less than professional photography, and now her in general. F* them and F* that food. NEVER AGAIN!
