I would not recommend this place to anyone, I would kindly send them to any other Korean restaurant instead of them. Bad service, wrong food sent to the table multiple times, I will not ever return.
The owner was very engaging, he went over and above to show us how to cook. we have never eaten Korean before...we will definitely be returning
This was one of the absolute best experiences my wife and I have had in the whole region. From the drinks to the food, this place was fun, exciting and a great time. The food was phenomenal and Gabrielle, Leo and staff were awesome! Highly recommended!
This is the BEST Korean restaurant in this area. It brings back very fond memories of when I was stationed at Kunsan Air Base in the USAF back in the late 70's/early 80's. The food is both healthy and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that would like to try authentic Korean food.
No clear signs out front confusing nothing explained properly double billed not happy the total was one hundred and fourty dollars for Korean bbq was charged Two extra surcharge fees asked reception why she said I'm just doing as boss says no cutlery had to ask waitress to fill glass drink was half full overcharged for everything if U are going beware they charge extra fifteen dollars per person if U don't finish ur food
What a horrible experience. Went there last night on 1/20 and we ordered 4 meals. First, the waitress got our order incorrect but she was very sweet, so we decided to try the incorrect dish versus sending it back. It was their Pork Belly item. IT WAS BACON, THIN SLICED BACON! We sent it back after trying a couple of pieces and said we did not have time for something else as we were headed to the movies. Well, that’s not all. They CHARGED me for it! They refused to take their BACON off the ticket stating we ate some so we have to pay for it! No manager talked with us ! Well, we paid but I will never ever go to this place again! I will tell everyone about how bad this place takes care of customers. The food was just okay and did not look anything like the pics. online. Maybe being 1 of 2 tables at 6 pm on a Saturday should have warned us.
This place was a great surprise. I expected good food, as it was suggested by a local friend, but man was I blown away! We each tried each others dishes, and there wasn’t a bad one of the 4. We had the Galbi, pork and beef bulgogi, and stir fried udon noodles. They were each unique and delicious, the kimchi didn’t disappoint either. I was so surprised that they weren’t full. A hidden gem for sure!
This was my first time trying Korean BBQ, I was not disappointed at all. the flavors were really good , the wait time was reasonable and the prices were also good. I recommend this place just like it was recommended to me. definitely a go back !!
Having never tried Korean food before, I opted for what I thought to be the simplest and easiest to prepare item on the menu. If you have been spoiled by tender, fall-off-the-bone, pork ribs like you will find in hundreds of restaurants around NC, just keep driving. Message to Korean BBQ. "You can't cook tender ribs in a few minutes. It takes HOURS." These wore the worst ribs I have ever had, anywhere in the country, including my first attempt in my own kitchen. 90% bone and 10% shoe leather. Great taste, but as tough as any low-quality meat I've ever had. My wife ordered a chicken dish which arrived with an odor more conducive to a restroom rather than a dining room. Having said that, the flavor of the dish was 100% opposite of the off-putting stench with which it arrived. The miso soup was vulgarly flavored and unpalatable. Also, here in the South, cold mashed potatoes are a fool's folly and an insult. Their attempt at appetizers was dismal. FAIL! The only good score goes to the friendly and attentive waiter.
A great first time experience. A diamond in the rough. Outside belies the tastefully done interior. Tasting dished we’re served reminiscent of relish trays of old. We had a beef and shrimp dish as main course. Both very tasty. It was lunch time so prices reasonable. Dinner slightly higher. Worth the trip.

New restaurant for us, just looking for some thing different in High Point. Great variety, love the assorted... accoutrements that came with the meal...kimchee, pickled radish, mashed potatoes and more. The shrimp fried rice was good. Definitely a fun place to eat in high point
Great Korean food! Only downside is that is a bit expensive. Good service. Reminded me of the Korean food I have longed for since my days while living in Southeast Asia.
This was our first visit to the High Point Korean BBQ restaurant but it will definitely not be our last! Wow! This place is amazing! I had no idea what to expect and this place blew us away! The server and greater were very friendly, the restaurant is super clean and nice, the food was out of this world! It was like the server just kept us guessing with all kinds of little extras. We ordered an appetizer and then they bring our salads and the salad appears plain and basic until... wait for it... the server places several little bowls of extras for the salad on the table. This included Kimchi, pickled radishes, cucumbers, spicy onions. Just an array of flavors and options my pallet had never experienced. I order a brisket and noodle soup which was huge and very simple yet satisfying, my husband had the boneless chicken bbq plate and it too was a large serving and tasted very unique and amazing! So needless to say I will have some leftovers tomorrow! Oh and to top it off for the grand finale was the Korean cinnamon tea ! Superb !
This is a fun place to eat. The food is deliciius, service is good and the decor is very nice. The portion sizes are above average.
Stopped by recently on a week night. According to the website and posted hours on the door, the restaurant SHOULD HAVE BEEN open. However, lights were off, the place was dark, locked up tight and no one was there. Makes it hard to try and I won't bother to go back
