This was my first time trying this place. I received 5 bagels instead of the 6 that I ordered and paid for. I think giving someone what they ordered is the basics in good customer service. The bagels and cream cheese are fine. I’ve had better and I’ve definitely had worse. The bagels were also not sliced. I also got some things to try later. The egg salad was ok. It needed some seasoning. The lemon cake was also just ok and I thought the slice was small for the price.

This is a far cry from a good NJ bagel, but if you're in High Point and need a bagel, these guys come close!

First time ordering here and I had a very simple order. I asked for a cinnamon crunch bagel with cream cheese and grape jelly totaling $6.10 I got the bagel and jelly but no cream cheese ): it also took them a bit of time to get my single bagel vs a person behind me who ordered multiple bagel with more add-ins. I also didn’t like the fact that a customer who had children allowed the kids to touch all over the muffins and even squished one and pounded their fist on others. They should definitely move them behind the glass. I probably won’t be coming back unfortunately.

Solid bagels in High Point. The food is good quality and well priced. My main complaint is that actual building is gross. Cramped seating, dirty tables, and last time we were there there were dead palmetto bugs all over.
The place is desperately in need of a clean and a coat of paint.

I’m from Brooklyn, New York and can I absolutely say these are the best bagels I’ve ever tasted. I stopped by and a gentleman Caught me off guard when he offered to pay for my sandwich and I told him that I really love the bagels there when he goes tell the owner he’s right there and pointed to a small room. I proceeded to tell the owner that while I was really amazed with his bagels because they taste better than home in Brooklyn that’s when I found out he’s from New York too..he was so happy to hear that and asked me if he could give me a hug and me I love hugs so of course, and then he proceeded to tell me that I have to try the chocolate milk in the fridge because it’s made in Highpoint so I told him that I would next time and he was like no take one now it’s free. Don’t worry just take it because you have to try. It was absolutely delicious cold chocolate milk, and trust me It won’t be the last time I’m stopping in.. To the gentleman that paid for my sandwich, I want to thank you again. 🥰

Honestly how did anyone feel comfortable serving this? It could have been as easy as just cutting a new bagel but obviously someone didn’t care here?? Not sure what happened considering the great reviews. Incredibly disappointed because I cannot eat this which truly sucks considering it was $13

Today, we went to High Point Bagels because we love their breakfast sandwiches. I'm not sure how the service is during the week, but today the service was absolutely horrific. We were asked multiple times what our order was. The young girl taking orders is not a good listener and should not be on the register. They forgot to put bacon on my husband's bagel and then argued with him about it not being on the order. There was not any atmospheric music or radio, just silent awkwardness of people waiting for their orders. I hope you find better employees for the weekend or we won't be back.

Awful 😖
The bagels are great, just may not be what you ordered. I’ve been going once a week or more and every time I have to ask for something that I was supposed to get, like Mac salad with my sandwich. I’ve got a toasted bagel with cream cheese that wasn’t actually toasted. Order a sandwich without tomatoes, come with tomatoes. Today I was given someone else’s order entirely. It’s not worth it to me to keep going back.

Normally I adore the bagels here and get them every week but lately the bacon egg and cheese biscuit has hardly any bacon on it, which is upsetting for how expensive it is. Part of why I love this place is the bacon so I wish they didn’t skimp

High Point Bagels is the best place in High Point to find authentic New York style bagels.
