BBQ to go was on point today as usual! Love the new people I saw today. Great hire on the little bubbly, friendly blonde working the front and my new fave red head (#letsdosomesmokedturkey!) OUTSTANDING customer service! A few of my favorite menu items: brisket queso, hush pups with ranch, the fried Okra is unmatched, the Brussels stole my heart years ago, and the Mac N Cheese… just try it for yourself 💞

Brisket was overcooked, not very moist at all. My wife and I were quite disappointed.

Had a great lunch! The brussel sprouts were tender and delicious and the pulled pork & chicken were more than we could eat. Would highly recommend if you're in Highlands wanting good BBQ

Great Brisket tacos. We also love a good gray goose dirty Martini

Snotty barmaid but great brisket, on par with the best craft BBQ in Texas, which everyone knows is Ground Zero for great ‘cue. The guy who took our order even hailed from Houston! The smokehouse baked beans are apocalyptic; the potato salad the opposite of that. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was hiking in the area and this was a great find. The chopped pork was moist and flavorful. The accompanying sauces catered to a variety of tastes…. I preferred the mustard and Texas sauces. The sides did not disappoint. The collard greens were the best I’ve had in some time and the hush puppies were crispy yet tender on the inside. Would definitely recommend and will be returning the next time I’m in town.

I've had BBQ all over the south and this is as good as it gets. Had the biscuit sandwich which was tender, juicy and not too fatty with just the right amount of smoke. Was also impressed by the side of coleslaw which I'm sure was also the best I've ever had in a BBQ joint. Staff was great and very efficient. Place was very busy but the wait was short.

Cool little place with very tender bbq and great fried okra. The Brunswick stew was the only thing that missed the mark for us

We ordered a bunch of different things to share and were pretty impressed by everything (the baked beans weren't our favorite but everything else was wonderful). I highly recommend the ribs!

Brisket was dry. Chicken didn't have much flavor. Ribs weren't bad. Baked beans were pretty good and the Brunswick stew was a home run. The famous Texas sauce was watery and had too much vinegar. The sweet sauce had a bitter vinegar taste. Overall not too bad of a place. Would we go again? Eh. It's questionable.
