Great beer and location but they kicked us out for having a baby. Our baby was asleep in a carrier outside. Apparently ERB is 21+ after 7pm, but it’s not the “house rules” online. I suggest ERB make this more obvious or enforce it indoor-only.

Really enjoyed our time here! We came after a hike at Occoneeche Mtn (just two minutes down the road!) nothing like a cold beer after a hike! We brought our 1 year old and 3 year old. TBH, there were a couple of wild kids running around (like a few reviews say) but for the most part, I really think the staff had a hold on it. Plus kids are gonna be kids 😬 Not to mention, there is a ton of outdoor space for kids to run and get their energy out. I enjoyed the clean high chair for my 1 year old! Beer was yummy and reasonably priced. Loved the atmosphere overall - will definitely be back!

😁Great outdoor setting, large covered area plus large lawn, all right up against the Eno River / North Carolina Mountains-to-Sea Trail and across the road from Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area. Go for a hike or walk, then drop-in for a brew & food trucks.

Eno River Brewing brought great beer back to Hillsborough after a few years of not have a brewery. THANK YOU!! Every staff member we’ve had the pleasure of interacting with has been amazing and very patient when it comes to helping us select the beers we wanted to drink. I highly recommend the spot, not only because of the great beer but because of the amazing atmosphere in the location right next to the Eno.

While the staff and drinks are great it is way over the top dog friendly. It is so dog friendly to the point that it is not uncommon to see dogs ON TOP of the tables walking around! Disgusting! Table tops are for food and drink only! They are not for pets to be using as a play place especially not knowing what they may have been rolling around in or what their feet have been into. 🤮
If you go then you should stay outside. The inside area is way too noisy. Again, too many dogs barking and snarling at each other. I would like to visit again but it is unlikely. Management needs to consider disallowing pets inside and on the table tops.

We decided to have Eno Mtn Brewery serve as a meeting spot for the reunion of the 1999 class from Orange High Sch. The venue was amazing, and it provides you with a relaxing and calming environment. Everything was great except this one staff member. She was clearly annoyed and even began making comments that a lot of us feel had racial undertones to it…she was beyond passive aggressive, she was down right rude. As with any reunion, especially one in which 25 years has passed, there were a lot of folks who hadn’t seen each other in decades and as a result I’m sure were a little more energized than normal. There were I know two glasses that were accidentally dropped and this one particular staffer would make comments under her breath but loud enough for them to be heard, we even offered to compensate them for the broken glasses which I’m sure every restaurant and brewery experiences pretty regularly. Our diverse crowd of what I would assume to be about 20-25 people were treated great by everyone but this one lady …definitely wouldn’t mind a return to the brewery as everyone else including patrons were wonderful and inviting; but if that lady is there it’ll be a hard hard pass

Great family friendly place in Hillsborough. It was the perfect place to gather with friends, have our toddler run around, and relax. Great beer selections and a relaxed atmosphere. Lots of outdoor seating and open grass area to play. Will be back soon!
