The staff here is AWESOME! I was helping a teacher and dear friend get her house in order after she became wheelchair bound recently. While hanging some photos on the wall, the glass to a high-end frame shattered. I called several places around town and even drove to some in the rain to get an estimate. The prices were ridiculously high. This place was only $14 and custom cut the glass to the size of the frame. They allowed me to change the glass in the store but the clutz that I am, I cut my hand and started bleeding. They were not only kind enough to offer me a bandaid and alcohol, but also changed the frame for me.

Studio71 does very high-quality framing. I've had multiple original artworks that I care a lot about framed here, and I trust them to do a good job.

The frames I've received are sturdy hardwood. There's no wobble at all. The matting is cleanly done, including for a complicated multi-panel job. The mounting hardware is very solid.

The staff is competent and helpful. They clearly like art and treat each job with respect. I've gone in with a vague idea of what I want for a piece, and they've walked me through a range of options to suit the aesthetics I'm looking for.

I recommend thinking about what you want for a piece up front. Plain vs complicated frame. Matting color and size. Standard glass, acrylic, or low-glare glass (they each have different advantages and costs).

Granted, quality framing is not cheap. If you want something cheap and not particularly nice looking, try Walmart. I recommend Studio71 for pieces you really care about and want to look at every day.

Great customer service!
I had shipped a large framed print from Idaho to a customer in North Carolina.
The frame was damaged in transit, and at first I thought it would be total loss. But then I called Studio 71, and they were so helpful over the phone.
I had the customer take the damaged item to them, and they were able to reframe the print. Now it looks as good as new. My customer was happy and I am so grateful.
They were honest and professional, and I would highly recommend them!

Helpful artists, decent prices

They were incredibly helpful when I went in with a few concert posters. There are so many frame options to play with and a very fair price. I'll definitely be going back to get a few other things framed.

The staff at this place are lovely. This is a great frame shop and they have everything you could want. Don't mistake that. I most enjoyed dealing with the staff of this very quirky shop. They didn't just help me find the perfect frames, they could actually appreciate the art I wanted framed in the first place. It's a great experience.
