Went to have a lunch today with my friend and our two daughters and her son the women behind the register already started off with a bad attitude we waiting for over 20 mins then she brings out two orders only while one kid is setting there starting at the only two kids eat I asked what’s taking so long she tells me they forgot my order and is putting it in now mind the you the other kids already finished their food and ours is not being put and didn’t say sorry or anything she was so dismissive and just turn around and walks away food was good but she ruined it with her incomplete service

Got turned around on the way to Greensboro and found this place at a junction on a side highway. DELICIOUS! No restaurant tricks, just authentic, homestyle southern cook in’. Hot, greasy, a little salty, extra flavor. Like eating at somebody’s house.
I had never ever in my life. Had the worst service ever then when I get home, they haven’t even gave me my food. I won’t be going back to Jay’s chicken. They argued the whole time. I was there waiting in front of the customers.

Jay’s Chicken Shack? More like Jay’s Chicken Tragedy. That chicken smelled funky the second I got it looked like it had been on a road trip before it hit the fryer. Salty enough to raise my blood pressure just by looking at it, and overcooked so bad it could’ve doubled as a hockey puck. Whoever cooked that bird definitely wasn’t showing it any love. Never again. The other guy gave his chicken back.

One of the employees was smoking a cigarette out front when I pulled up, and when she saw me, she got up, put it out right at the front door and walked straight behind the counter and started messing with the register area skipping washing her hands entirely. I used to eat here all the time and Jay makes an amazing biscuit with phenomenal chicken, but if your employee can’t wash her hands after smoking, I don’t want to know what else she’s doing without washing her hands. Not sure if I’ll ever return.
