Joe Van Gogh Coffee Roastery

I’ve been ordering whole bean coffee from Joe van gough for awhile and love trying the newer blends and specialty coffees, it’s what we get up for! So fresh!

Let me first start by saying that I would love to be able to visit the actual roastery someday to see the process but, I know it probably doesn’t give tours. This review isn’t about a cafe. It is about the coffee beans themselves from this Roastery.
I picked up some of their coffee beans for the first time at a local comic book store/cafe. I wanted to give Joe Van Gogh a shout out because I thoroughly enjoyed their coffee. I love to make fresh pour over coffee at home and making a cup of their Moonlight Organic Mocha Blend was a delight. I loved the earthy and cocoa notes that I tasted and also did get a small hint of fruit as well. It wasn’t too bold but was just bold enough and was smooth. It is a Medium-Dark blend coffee. I usually prefer the Light-Medium roasts but this was a pleasant surprise for me. I’m going to try the French press method tomorrow and I’m sure it will be just as good. I can’t wait to try more of this small business brand!

Awesome pumpkin latte and hot chocolate milk. I love supporting local coffee shops too. We shopped at the Greensboro downtown location. I love how this business gets from local farms.
