they've done a good job of making this a nice little place to sit and eat, i like the outdoor area. however, the food isn't good - temperature, texture, flavor - it seems like they are just not trying at all.

Got huevos rancheros and coffee. Service was really bare minimum until the shift change (around 11:45am)- new person was great. Should rename the dish huevos salsa. Just not the dish I have gotten most places. Samantha’s in town is WAY better. Potatoes not cooked inside. Ketchup was clearly NEVER refrigerated- it was really dark- 30 years of restaurant work tells me they continually top off those bottles and never put ‘em in fridge (health code violation-don’t use the ketchup)
Coffee was really good. Anyway- I will stick with Samantha’s I guess- like the atmosphere better at Los Altos, oh well

Enjoyable brunch, lunch, and dinner spot with options for outdoor seating. Parking can be difficult but that isn't under the control of the restaurant. It has good food and nice professional, friendly staff.
For those with mobility issues there may be some issues around tightness or access especially for those in wheelchairs.
I had the ceviche. It was absolutely delicious. Very cozy spot and the young lady working there was incredibly kind.
Good food. Large menu.
Real nice setup. I really like the layout of the restaurant being streetside with outdoor dining available. It's small and compact with a bar. The food was excellent and the waitress was super nice.
Lived in Mexico for almost 20 years and it's rare to find a restaurant that really is both authentic and reasonably priced. The food is very well prepared and they take pride in both the presentation in preparation. Highly recommended
I got the Los Altos burrito Al pastor and had the worst food poisoning I’ve ever experienced. I know it was from here because the burrito is the only food I had that day. I really was looking forward to having a positive experience but that wasn’t the case. Before the food poisoning, the burrito itself was alright. Chips and salsa were bland. Need less to say, I won’t be returning but hope others have better experience than I did.
Stopped in for a late lunch. There's a lot of choices on the menu. The complimentary chips and salsa were good. The two tacos I got we're pretty good. Washed it all down with a Modelo. Like I said, the food is good.... not great. Atmosphere was okay, a little tight with the seating. While all of the stuff hanging from the ceiling is kind of interesting, it makes the place seem pretty small.
Pretty average Mexican restaurant Would I go back? Sure.

Possibly the most slept-on breakfast in Hillsborough. There's three dozen people right down the street who don't know what they're missing.
Service was prompt, food was outstanding, and the prices are pretty dang reasonable.
The owners have put a lot of work into the decor; the dining room quite literally shines and it feels like a cozy spot. Had the Los Altos omelette, which was fantastic.
Stop reading this and eat here.
Very cozy place with good service and tasty food. The place very clean and nice vibes!
Fav mex in Hillsborough!
I stopped in for a late lunch and had the chicken quesadilla. It was the best I've had in a long time. The service was friendly, and the salsa is delicious!

I got the enchiladas mole. The plate looked good, but the mole sauce was bitter, and the beans had an off-taste, like chemically or something. It didn't taste like food. The staff was very nice. It's VERY small inside!
