I usually love the Dog House but was extremely disappointed this time I went (4/10/24). I paid for a Hound Dog Tailwagger (that is a mustard & chili hot dog). As you can see in the picture, it looks like I got barely any chili and maybe one squeeze of mustard. I went around lunch time and I understand they were busy, but I believe I got ripped off. I basically paid extra for a plain hot dog.

Drive through or get out and order.Small picnic table for 6- 8 out front.90% can get off I-40 or I-85 drive into town and return to interstates immediately or eat in the parking lot or the table out front.

Very unprofessional service. Girl took my order and another girl come in reeking of marijuana while first girl was preparing my food she then took my money was giggling as the second girl was fondling her back side at the drive thru window. You can't make this stuff up.

2 all beef dogs mustard, chili, slaw. Excellent!!! Hot, neatly made. Fast, was there less than 5 minutes. Apple turnover, also HOT and fresh and good. My drive thru coordinator was awesome, polite and patient. Respectable prices, simple dummy proof menu. Great job!!! I will be back....

Best hot dogs in the area! This locally owned dog themed hot dog restaurant is full of charm with friendly staff and excellent food. Many of the non-hot dog menu items such as the chicken salad, Brunswick stew and barbecue are made fresh in-house. Old fashioned flavors at a very affordable price. Highly recommend.

Waitress told us majority of dishes are made in house. Chicken salad, slaw & chili, delicious! She b ought samples for us to try.

Classic hot dog spot. Pretty decently priced and you get a lot of food. Recommend it if you want a hot dog and fries. They have crushed ice for their drinks too!
