Great atmosphere...excellent well thought out tap list...something for everyone...not just ipa's like a lot of places

The beer selection is excellent. The service is friendly and competent. The vinyl selection is surprising in a good way.

The inside of the story was incredibly vibey with a great selection of vinyls and drinks. The staff was welcoming and friendly and I found some records I hadn’t seen at other shops. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re an enthusiast or new to collecting.

Perfect vinyl shop for a small town like Hillsborough. Tony is a great owner, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the adult beverages are a nice addition.

I had the best time here! Came in to look for some 80’s Rock vinyls for my grandfather, and Tony helped me find two vinyls in immaculate condition!! I was incredibly impressed. Sat down and had a good beer and conversation with Tony about his story and how he started his business. I would rate this place higher if I could. 100% recommend

We drove over to Hillsborough this morning to pick up an item off Facebook Marketplace. We decided to stop by this place since we are always looking for new record stores in the area whenever we are in a new area. I have gotta say it did not disapoint at all. They have an excellent selection of new and used vinyl with genres spanning from punk, emo, indie, heavy metal, electronic, classic rock, krautrock, just about any genre you can think of. The addition of the bar and a sofa to relax on is also very exciting. The owner is friendly and helpful and was happy to test out a used record we found before we bought it. Great location as well. Definitely stop by if you are in the area!

So glad I finally got a chance to make it in to Volume. The shop is a great place to relax with friends, enjoy a beverage, and listen to music. Tony has spent his life enjoying and collecting music/vinyl that spans the spectrum, and Volume exemplifies his knowledge and love of music.
