Went there for the first time recently and it was a blast. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the band. Only complaint is the guy running the bar was rather unfriendly and seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else and was a bit rude when I closed out the tab.

Met a friend for drinks there. I had no idea they hold Open Mic night. Nice atmosphere, and plenty of people but not too crowded. They have outside seating available as well. Nice spot on King Street, that is a short walk from a couple of different parking areas.

Yonder is my number one go-to bar. Great staff, great atmosphere, and great drinks! I'm one of those people that has their "usual" drinks and rarely if ever orders on-menu cocktails, but every time the menu here changes I make it a point to try every new drink - they know what they're doing here! And you can't beat Thursday jazz nights!

This small bar & lounge is a great space for a nighttime hang-out. The violet lights create a jazzy atmosphere that's elevated when musicians are performing. I visited when a local jazz quartet was playing. The music had swing-dance notes to it. As one that chose to abstain from alcohol for a few days, I looked on Yonder's non-alcoholic drink menu. The Ghost Writer crossed my eyes, and it was great! I ordered two of them. Would gladly come again.

Service was excellent!! Drinks are strong pours, comedy had me in stitches. Schedule is full of options for whatever your taste, space is comfortable and clean, nice atmosphere, large enough to feel spacious and small enough to feel cozy. Makes me wish I lived in North Carolina still. Books for sale if that's more your speed. All around good vibes. For a good time call!
Really well made cocktails which is typically a hard thing to find. We weren’t there long enough to hear the live music but the atmosphere is nice and dark and what you want from a bar.

Absolutely loved Yonder. The cocktails were amazing, I tried many over a two day period. We were there for an author event and it was packed. Great atmosphere in a great little thriving downtown. Highly recommend.

Really comfortable spot. Bartenders were attentive but not necessarily friendly (they weren't busy, so it wasn't that). The band wasn't playing very loudly but it was almost too loud to talk/hear (live music in a small space can be that way). Great outdoor/sidewalk seating but there weren't any available seats or we would have sat out there. Wife had a very nice gin cocktail and I had a short pour stout. We'll go back for sure... probably when there isn't music or when we can sit outside.

I also have experienced the rude, off-putting behavior from the gruff, curmudgeon of a 'bartender'. And it's funny to see the sardonically charged replies from the owners here too. They clearly have their clientele in place and are not concerned with making more business for themselves. Well, whatever.
