Best butter pecan hand dip ice cream ever!!! I wish there was a way to transport it back to Jersey with me. The employees are always so welcoming, honest and genuine. Shout out to Jack he was our server when I went there. I hope he does amazing in college and becomes the best teacher ever.

Off season hours are a little different.
But we got there right at closing and they were more than happy to serve us.

Best Ice Cream in supply. We go there every time we are down at Holden Beach. Make sure they take your picture for their wall. It’s neat to look back at all the years.

We stopped by Fantasy Isles during our vacation, and the experience was top-notch. The staff, John, was incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome right away. I went with the Mocha Almond Fudge, which was nothing short of amazing, and tried the Salty Caramel too, equally impressive. My daughter had the Birthday Cake flavor in a waffle cone, and she loved every bite. The prices were reasonable, and overall, it was a fantastic stop. Honestly, wouldn’t change a thing. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit!

First Time to Holden Beach, really recommend, great service, amazing Ice Cream. Great Prices for a family of 4! Very happy that my son could participate with a toddler size putter. Definitely placing it in the books to enjoy next time we come visit.

My husband and I, along with our 2 kids, took our first trip to Holden to meet friends for a summer vacation. Our friends have been vacationing there for 3 years and brought us to one of their favorite spots to stop for putt putt and ice cream, Fantasy Isle. Putt putt was fun for the 7 of us, but my favorite part was the ice cream! My son has a severe nut allergy and there aren’t many places I’m comfortable with him having ice cream. We always ask just in case, but it’s often not safe for him. The girl working the day we came was amazing!! She pointed out that they keep the nut flavors in a separate cooler and listed all of the flavors that are made on separate machinery than the nut flavors. My son picked a flavor he wanted and she double checked their list to make sure it was safe and said give me a minute to wash my hands and get a clean scoop. She got a clean scoop then washed it again herself and got a new tub that hadn’t been scooped from yet. You don’t even understand how happy I was that he could share ice cream with everyone else and that I wasn’t stressed over the potential of a reaction! Your steps you take to allow a kid like mine the ability to have a treat like everyone else is simply amazing and I cannot express how thankful I am for people like you! The ice cream was so tasty and service was outstanding (I wish I could remember the girl’s name that helped us so I could give her a shoutout). Thank you!!

Have been visiting for years and this is one of our favorite places to visit at Holden. We usually play mini golf and eat ice cream 2-3 times during our annual week vacation on Holden. Ice cream was delicious as always and staff super nice as always. Mini golf course this year compared to previous years had noticeable lack of attention to detail that made us sad. Overgrown bushes needing to cut back throughout course, broken shingles off both wells, missing signs on holes, broken metal art, paint peeling off the word golf on the side of the building. Mosquitos were awful! Don’t remember this being an issue in years past. I’m not sure what’s going on but I really hope some of the items mentioned above get addressed. Made us all very sad to see the big difference from last year.

My son and I went on our last night in Holden Beach. We visited other ice cream shops on the island that were rated 5 stars, but I had to rate and review Fantasy Isle as a 5 compared to the other ice cream places. The atmosphere was laid back and enjoyable, the staff was extremely friendly and courteous, the ice cream was delicious and the waffle cone was a must!
