Staff weren’t genuinely friendly and seemed to be unhappy to be there. The regular patrons smoke cigarettes all over the outdoor seating where others eat, but if you throw a cracker to a bird you are scolded and told not to and that “there are signs everywhere”. Did not see a sign but totally understand and respect the reasoning. Greasy food, no lemon served with calamari. Chips stale with shrimp dip served in plastic cereal bowl. Marinara is prepackaged fast food grade condiment. Meal not worth the price. Won’t be back.

The food was ok but not the best we’ve had there. They didn’t have a lot of the options we wanted since it was off season but there was no sign or listings anywhere saying so. That would’ve been helpful so when we were looking at the menu, we would’ve been able to make better decisions. The hushpuppies were cold and we were told that they sit them under a heat lamp until they run out because they don’t make them fresh. That was a little disheartening. Overall, we will go back but make sure it’s in season.

I recently visited Surf City with my guests and stopped by this establishment due to its ocean view and surfing atmosphere. Upon arrival, we noticed the bar area was empty, with some tables occupied in the back, but not in the front. We placed our drink orders, and mine arrived promptly, along with an appetizer. However, the rest of our party did not receive their drinks. After waiting for approximately 20 minutes, we decided to leave. We observed that our drinks were sitting at the bar, but our waitress failed to deliver them. When we approached her to request the check, she simply stated that our drinks were probably ready, without offering any apology. We reluctantly accepted the drinks, but upon tasting them, found them to be watery and unappetizing. As a result, we payed our bill and even in that moment this young lady she even said anything, we left the establishment without finishing our drinks. Although this restaurant has significant potential, I was disappointed to find that they use disposable cups, such as foam cups and plastic cups for our drinks. Furthermore, the appetizer we ordered was greasy and soggy. While some may attribute our experience to an off night or bad day, I firmly believe that this is unacceptable. If an establishment accepts a table, it is their responsibility to provide adequate service. If issues arise, such as forgetting to place an order, it is imperative that the staff communicates with management to rectify the situation, rather than allowing customers to leave feeling utterly disappointed.

Sat at the Bar for 15+ minutes. Bar not busy. About 6-8 ppl including me and my friend. Absolutely no sense of urgency or service. The male bar tender didnt even look at us. We left. Great place with lots of potential. But, horrible service. I should note, i am a local and this is not the first time that this happen to me and my friends. We went down the st to Daddy’s Mac’s… much better

Last Monday Music BINGO night was our first time here. Marty the bingo host is fantastic! View is amazing! Our waitress was spot on the whole night!!!!! Our food.... husband had coconut shrimp YUM! I had the crab shrimp dip....new cook in kitchen put way too much old Bay on my pita chips ..when I mentioned it...waitress replaced them all no questions asked. Customer service was great. Peak tourist season it can be extremely busy extra patience is needed. Talking from years of food service myself and my husband.

10/10 food was great. Lisa Ann is the best there is out there. She made our experience so great and made sure to take extra care of us.
