Loved this restaurant, they made us feel like family and the food was always excellent! Ate there at least once a week over the past 5 months! We travel a lot so we know our food! Although it's in a different location now, this has been a great seafood restaurant for decades. The prices are very reasonable and the food never disappoints. The staff is always southern style friendly. We actually met the owners this past trip and ended up chatting with them for over an hour at the bar. Great people.
Have been a customer since 2000 Steve took on a partner has went down hill every since significant price hick smaller portions limited menu different help every time we go and it cost 75.00 for 3 people to eat it will be my last visit good luck

This small town seafood restaurant is one of the absolute best places to eat outstanding seafood in the area. The restaurant is clean. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and fun. Its about a mile off US Hwy 17 in my home town, Holly Ridge NC and only 4 miles away from Surf City and the beach. I try to eat there every time I go to visit my family. I definitely recommend stopping in and enjoy the small town atmosphere and the wonderful food. I took more leftovers home than what I ate in the restaurant. Love, love, love it!! ??????Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of space and easy access.Kid-friendliness: Family and kid friendly. Highchairs available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp at the entrance and plenty of space between tables in the dining room.

The food was okay. The oysters were overcooked.Server got my order wrong even after we had a conversation about one of the items I ordered. (Which was totally missing from the meal I got served.)Then I had to wait for my plate to be corrected, while the rest of my party had their meal. Which defeats the purpose of going out to enjoy a meal together.I would have rated this higher, but they were not even busy at the time.

If you enjoy fried seafood, this is the place. The meals are reasonably priced, the service is super, and the atmosphere is homey.Wheelchair accessibility: The staff is very accommodating. Tables can easily be moved if necessary.

Food is pretty decent, always fresh. Hushpuppies are great. Our only complaint is that prices are getting too high. We'd eat here more often if prices were more reasonable. I understand prices have gone up everywhere, but other restaurants have managed to keep prices somewhat reasonable, so not sure why their prices keep creeping up over and over. Also to charge extra for some sides is also a turn off. Service is always great, but prices make it to where we only come here once every couple months.
