Eggs Up Grill

Seemed understaffed. I was seated fast but needed to look for someone to take my order. Over medium eggs were served over hard (little to no runny yoke) two times. On the third try they were barely acceptable, added up to a very long breakfast, no bill was ever brought to me l had to request bill to cash out. Zero accommodations was made for the untimelyness if my food and possibly even over charged. I will not return to this restaurant.

Absolutely ridiculous wait time. I waited almost 40–50 minutes for some simple pancakes and some eggs. This should have been one of the quickest orders, but instead I sat around forever with no updates or apology. By the time the food came out, any enjoyment was already gone. Definitely not worth it.

I didn't realize this was near me. Always a good experience. Food is prepared well and servers are always pleasant.

I went here this morning August 4th 2025. We had the worst waitress of my life today she did not introduce herself very rude and short with us .Shes a black girl probably 25 years old. The most rude person I’ve ever came across. She must’ve been racist because we were white. We noticed her treat everyone black very nice. She stood to the side of our table never introduced yourself. Didn’t come back to ask how our food was or refill our drinks we had to Asked for the Bill three times it was just a miserable situation I will be telling everyone I know to never eat here, especially every white person I know.I will never be back ! Took almost an hour for the food to come out . Stay away from the place .

I would like to first say that I’ve not had one bad experience here until today. My family and I have been coming here for years since they opened. We always use the online waitlist and have never had issues until today. The first time we used the waitlist, we were removed - which was fine because we were totally running behind! However, I joined a second time and as we were in the car we received a text that our table was ready. I figured no big deal as we were almost there. No where on the text does it give an indication that we can respond. I assumed the texts were automated. We pull in and I come in and speak to the host working with the iPad and told her our name. She turns to the African American lady with curly hair and she yells very firmly that we have been removed, that we were sent a text twice and then removed. She asked if we wanted to be added again and I did not know what to say so I told my mother what was going on. After I went to the car, she went inside and asked what the issue was because we have never had this issue before and the same lady pretty much barked the same thing she told and that we didn’t answer the text, again I did not know we could or were supposed to answer. This lady was straight up rude to me and my mother. I was not in the store when my mother went in, but I’m sure she was firm because I hate confrontation and did not want to argue with this lady. Having normal, not even good, customer service should be standard. Last thing, I’ve read some of the reviews and I’m sure the owner will watch the camera footage, send a passive aggressive response to this review. So when that happens, hi!

We have always enjoyed Eggs Up Grill in Holly Springs. This last trip for breakfast was a disappointment . They changed their menu. The omelette that I used to enjoy was replaced with another similar, but not the same. The omelette that I ordered was full of grease, vegetables were chopped and mushy, just wrapped in a thin layer of egg white (not mixed in with the eggs)the feta cheese was no where to be found or very skimpy. Service was not as good as usual. The server did not return to see if we needed anything, like a refill of coffee. Disappointed.

I can’t share any details of the food since we have been waiting and still no table. I called at 10:00am for a party of six. When we arrived they tried to put us in a booth for 4. 11:10 and still waiting. Rating 0 for organization

I had just gotten off the airplane from Florida in the early afternoon on Friday the 13th September 2024, with my wife and we were hungry for breakfast. Looked up a nearby place by the name Eggs Up Grill , and we went there due to the great reviews on google and they did not dissappoint. I had the Grand classic and my wife the avocado toast, and we both loved it. Now I was tempted to also have the limited edition pumkin pancakes with all the goodies , but my diabetes was rising just looking at it, so I had to decline, but l knew in my mind , it was going to be delicious as everything else was. Great food, great service , reasonble prices with the down home feel. If you are in the Raleigh NC area, you have to stop by and enjoy the experience.

Classic diner type experience for breakfast. Little bit lighter on the lunch options but I've never gone there for a lunch meal. Eggs are cooled decently as you'd expect from the name. Never had a bad server in multiple trips. The savory options are my preference but the pancakes, particularly the pumpkin ones that are the fall special are delicious as well. Grits are mediocre and bland but that's the only complaint I could have.
