Great food, great experience. The entry way is a little cramped, especially on weekend brunch days, but having benefits like joining the waitlist ahead of time on the app and being able to scan a QR code to pay the bill make this place a joy to go to.

The food itself is tasty when it’s fresh, I have been reluctant to go back because I really want to like this place. Unfortunately after the first two successful visits 3 years ago it has been nothing but disappointment since.
Sunday July 20th
We Walk in and are seated, the hostess was very kind and helpful. That is where the positive part of the experience ended.
Once sat down first thing I noticed is the coffee cups are dirty
Then our waiter who was not busy took 14 mins to take our drink orders. Then our water glass smelled very sour to the point we had to get a new one. Second glass smelled fine. We also ordered a blueberry corn bread he openly admitted to forgetting about…no big deal.
Once he did place the order he brought our little plates … each one was dirty. We then ordered a special lemonade drink he also forgot to order that took a long time.
Once all that happened he finally got around to taking our order after another short delay. So the food finally comes out.
My wife’s salad…omg … I have no clue how any other human that has ever eaten a salad could have put that lettuce on a plate and served it to another person..the lettuce was so bad it was literally slimy and couldn’t hold its shape anymore. Like the whole salad not just a few pieces… gross
The million dollar potatoes … the flavor was absolutely delicious… unfortunately both servings on our table the potatoes were still raw and the bacon was black and very very hard to chew.
We ordered two of the same sandwiches the elevated egg sandwich… ordered the same way… both were portioned different, both had different doneness of the eggs… one was perfect with warm yolk when cut into, one was like a hard boiled egg… amounts of spinach was different…
Needless to say we won’t be coming back, I hate leaving bad reviews not everything was bad up there but the combination of issues we got today was ridiculous. The people were very friendly and respectful This time is about the 15th visit over the last 3-4 years and every time we leave disappointed. I really hope they can get it together.

We had post graduation brunch at First Watch. Though I have this restaurant in my home city, I'd never been. We started with the lemon blueberry cornbread. It was delicious. It was the texture of moist cake and the spread concoction tasted like butter infused with real lemon and lemon curd. My family had a variety of entrees, all of which looked wonderful. I had the omelet with multiple meats and veggies, potatoes for my side and whole grain toast. I ate every bite. The servers were attentive and we were checked on by three different ones during our meal. The shrimp and grits caught my eye, so I'll likely patronize my local restaurant to try that dish. I definitely recommend First Watch in Holly Springs for a delicious breakfast/lunch/brunch experience.

I went to First Watch for brunch with a friend to catch-up. First, our seats and table were clean and well taken care of. Then, our server, Gabby, was very personable. She had a wonderful smile, a great demeanor and was readily available for us. Lastly, our food was amazing! Very filling, good portions and cooked well. I have been here before when I visited my friend and enjoyed it then as well. If you have a chance to go, I would highly recommend it. Also, if you have an issue with anything, just let them know. They try very hard to maintain their quality of food and service.
