It’s just getting so disappointing to go out to eat. In the recent years we had stopped going out to eat, whether it’s for quick lunch or dinner mainly because the food quality and service is just abysmal.
I used to love Freddy’s and especially this particular location. But unfortunately just like most places this place was a huge disappointment. We shouldn’t have to accept this bad food and bad service especially how much the prices have gone up.
I think it’s OK for the prices to go up as long as you can reciprocate with amazing service and good quality food. The biggest issue on my last visit (on a slow Monday lunch hour) was that the quality of food was mediocre. The bun was squished on one side and it’s rather confusing why it was squished on one side (almost like it got pressed between two hot iron). The patty was a little on the colder side. I picked a meal option and upgraded from fries to onion rings and paid even more money. Onion rings looked very small nothing exciting and the quantity just felt not enough especially when there was an up charge.
This particular location is not too old, and it was built in the last 7 years, so overall it doesn’t look old or dirty, but the tables and floors weren’t very clean. Somebody had wiped the table, but you could tell like it had left all the water streaks and stickiness on the table, and it’s hard to explain, but the level of sanitation was just not there. It is something you have to experience to understand what I’m talking about. Staff just chilling in the kitchen with no sense of pride or care I what they were doing.
I guess we will continue boycotting most fast food places with the exception of chipotle which is probably the only fast food or fast casual that I actually look forward to when we do think about going out to eat or grabbing a bite.
I really loved Freddy’s and it is so sad how things are deteriorating so fast it’s simply unbelievable.

Speed and quality of the food was great, the older lady at the cash register just seemed like she was in a bad mood. She didn't know which dessert was the 'original' frozen custard that Freddy served, and seemed annoyed that I'd ask that. Not rude, just not friendly

Loved the super skinny French fries. Didn’t even need to add any condiments.
The double cheeseburger was just alright. Tasty but wasn’t blown away. The shredded lettuce made it too sloppy for me. Would rather have pickle chips instead of sliders. But more importantly the bun was a major disappointment. Your basic run of the mill generic hamburger bun that looked old enough that some of it already crumbled off and it was not buttered/toasted. I asked for mayo/ketchup and barely tasted it
Returned 2 more times in Jan-Feb 2025 and think I have a winner. I initially got another smash cheeseburger combo and came to the conclusion that I’m just not impressed with the very basic bun that looks bad no matter how fresh it is. As a corporation I would definitely upgrade your hamburger buns.
I tried the grilled cheese burger and I loved it. Made on Texas toast and the sauce was great.

I LOVE my usual chocolate concrete with Reese's peanut butter cups in it. But HOW THE HELL do you become OUT OF CHOCOLATE?? Like really?? Who runs out of chocolate. That's like saying McDonalds and their ice cream machine

Food is subpar compared to other locations, too pricey for nasty food!! Too much butter on the bread, no seasoning on the fries, meats super rubbery, never coming back!

Ordered a burger and fries the fries where old and ice cold not hot at all not even warm ! The burger was disgusting! A ton of salt I would not recommend this place at all !

We go here alot on Sundays and the last time we went they completely butchered our order. I reached out to the owner and they said they would make it right and they would reimburse us with coupons for a new meal. They never came and they won't email me back. It's a shame the service of the owner was as bad as our experience at the store.

These steak burgers are so delicious and the fries are mini size but u get a good quantity! The atmosphere takes me back to the 80's 90's feel I love it & let's not get into the frozen custards..... YUMMMYYYY!!!!

We are in North Carolina from Michigan, staying at a hotel and placed a 50 dollar food order and never got it , they are not answering the phone. Very very disappointed! We will NEVER order from here again! (Our son lives here and he never will either) and never door dash again either!
The manager was rude the food was nasty. I made a mistake on my order and wanted to change the drink.. the manager was rude for no reason. He would not allow me to change the drink. I will never eat her again.
