Super cute spot for breakfast or just coffee in Holly Springs! The atmosphere is very cozy and clean, also love that they have outdoor seating. I had a lavender iced latte that was delicious.
Ashley is absolutely amazing! I was able to have my baby shower here and she personally saw that every detail was taken care of! Her chocolate croissants are my absolute favorite and the iced white mocha is delicious! If you’re in the area you should definitely stop in for some good food, great coffee, and amazing customer service! We will definitely be turning into regulars!
Literally, I haven’t had a bad item on the menu! The staff are super friendly and welcoming! It’s a great place to meet for lunch. The only change I would make is making sure the cashier isn’t playing with the table numbers while taking orders, super fidgety. Excellent place!
Perfect spot for a filling but not too heavy breakfast. Homemade waffle and omelet were yummy and a great value. Staff was attentive and friendly. And they make popovers - last time i had one of those was when my Mom used to make them for us back in the 80s.
A bit of a mixed experience overall. I only dine at independent restaurants unless I cannot avoid it, like a group gathering or party. Met a friend because of the great reviews, however, unfortunately I was not really pleased with the selections or quality of food. I am trying to eat healthier and wanted a salad or something lighter but they only have 1 salad on the menu which was not appealing to me (greens with mushroom, carrot, pecans-a bit strange) so I asked if they could do something a little off menu to accommodate. The woman offered me a salad with a scoop of chicken on top (I added tomatoes), ok that sounded fine and ordered a side of fruit instead of potatoes. Wanted a chai latte but they use a sugary chai mix (like Starbucks and most places who don't make their own) so I ordered a cappuccino instead. My friend (who is not on a diet) ordered a bunch of food and a mimosa. Then 3 of the employees were trying to jokingly peer pressure me into ordering a mimosa when obviously I wanted one but was trying to be healthy. Needless to say, it was difficult to say no already but the pressure did not make it any easier. This made me uncomfortable. Then my food arrived and it was literally just a scoop of chicken salad on a half piece of romaine and 2 tomato slices with some sad looking fruit-canned mandarin oranges in syrup, brown pineapple, apple, strawberries and grapes. This was all $20 with my small cappuccino and obviously the new ipad standard of a semi guilt driven tip method of the US when the place was not full service. I sat myself, went up to get my own menu, and went up again to order. Then when I went back after I got my food it was really confusing and multiple employees were involved and wanted to re-ring and delete stuff to get a salad. It was honestly just frustrating and I was over it so I just said don't worry about it. They ended up bringing me a side plate with some more lettuce on it which was nice. In the end, I ate my chicken salad and most of the fruit and just ate again when I got home. My friend ate about half of her food and said it was not that good. She ordered a bunch of extras that she was charged for and needed more protein to feel satisfied (cross-fitter). The gluten free muffin was good. The staff was nice enough and tried but it just seemed like they needed more training and it would be great if they had some more healthier options to accommodate everyone. My only choices were the yogurt bowl or 1 salad (both of which I eat everyday at home). Obviously it is a bakery so perhaps just not a place for people who are seeking healthy, fresh and alternative options. Also, maybe the staff could just be a bit mindful about pressuring customers into drinking even after I went through the entire hassle of custom ordering my food to be healthy.
Can’t believe I just recently discovered this Hidden Gem ?♥️. Hands down the best breakfast and lunch cafe. Out of this world sandwiches, baked goods, coffees, and drinks. Ashley (owner) is simply Amazing and the food is so fresh and delicious. This has officially become my #1 weekly spot for dine in and take out ?
Stopped by for a late lunch with my wife and son. The Belgian waffle topped with pecans and sliced green apples was delicious. Enjoyed the iced coffee.
Super friendly and everything we've had is delicious. I didn't know what Amish Oatmeal was but now I'm a huge fan. My wife and I love this place and visit often.
We had a nice Dirty Chai de cafe decaf and a Pepermint Hot Chocolate. They were good. The only thing was, I'm not sure why, but they were ordered and paid for ìn the same transaction and they asked if we were going to stay to drink them there and the Hot Chocolate came out to the table in a mug, and my Chai in a to-go cup. I didn't want to make a big deal of the to go cup since I had invited a friend and didn't want to distract or give any negative vib from the nice time I wanted to share with my friend. But I delight in seeing and drinking a well prepared drink in its cup or mug. Therefore, there is no picture of 2 delightfully presented drinks only one.
Based on the name, you may be thinking of New Age or the Hippy Movement from the 70's, but when you walk in, it's all modern. Even better, you're greeted by so many friendly people, and a bakery filled with all kinds of tasty goodies. Just looking at all those decadent delights made my mouth water. If you walk straight through, there's the restaurant, but feel free to dine outside as well. The team here does it all, from saying hello when you come in, to preparing your coffee, to bringing you your food, or taking payment - and I promise each employee looks like they're having a ton of fun. It was easy to see why they seem to have personal relationships with guests who come in to grab their food. You can get any drink made frozen, so I dared to go rogue by asking for a Frozen Jasmine Lemonade, which had apparently never been done before. Everyone was on board and said it was a new idea, but laughed and told me, "let's go for it!", and my goodness, it was perfectly yummy. I also ended up purchasing a huge waffle to go with nuts and goat cheese that was super fluffy and perfectly cooked. Breakfast fans can eat breakfast all day, or have sandwiches for lunch. If you remember the TV program called "Cheers" from 1982 to 1993, which was a bar where everyone knew your name, this bakery/restaurant is a shining example of that friendly atmosphere, and the food is wonderful. I'll definitely go back, and if I could, would give them 10 stars for a job well done. RO
Vegetarian options: Didn't apply to me, but these options were clearly listed on their menus.
Parking: Plenty of spots to park, and it was super easy.

We had a wonderful experience this morning at Harvest Moon Cafe— the coffee drinks and the croissants we purchased were all amazing, and very reasonably priced. They also tasted a million times better than big chain alternatives. I am counting the days until I can return for another chocolate croissant, because it was just that good. The baristas were friendly and attentive, while also being patient with us while we decided what to order. Thanks for helping us start our day on the right foot on a busy Saturday morning!
So yummy! Great friendly customer service!! My Carmel macchiato frappe was the best! Highly recommend checking out Harvest Moon
I just came here for the first time today and let me tell you I will be back. I’ve eaten scones from all over and this was the best I’ve had yet! I got the Apple cinnamon and it was so yummy. I cannot wait to come back to sit down and eat, this was a just quick stop today.
So this place completely exceeded my expectations and was absolutely delicious. From the lavender lemonade to the extremely generously filled chocolate croissants and the pesto tomatoes and mozzarella on a popover, everything was just so good. I even tried a vegan cinnamon muffin for the kid and it was really good. To top it all off the staff there is so helpful and kind and they were great with my kid in there as well.
Wonderful place to eat! The food was great and the customer service was so delightful. Incredibly friendly staff made me feel like I was a long time customer, despite it being my first visit. Also they didnt make me feel rushed while ordering which was so nice considering I was juggling a cranky toddler at the time.Fyi, the lavender lemonade was amazing!!
