I ordered my pizza between lunch and dinner on a weekday, was done in around 15 minutes. For the price it was fantastic. Solid cheese pie, thin crust and slightly heavy cheese. The garlic sprinkle was the perfect amount to make it smell great and make the crust pop a little without hurting the pizza.

My family has been going to homegrown for 20 years, we were craving it tonight, so we ordered it on Grubhub for delivery. We got 24 wings and ordered 6 cups of ranch because we really like their ranch. We received no ranch at all. I called to see what happened and to see if they gave it to the Grubhub driver so that I could call him. The girl that answered the phone was short with me and unapologetic. She first said that there was no ranch even ordered, but after checking further she changed her mind and said that I would get a refund of $3 for 4 cups of ranch since 2 ranches would have been included with the wings anyway. I also noted that the cheese fries didn’t have bacon and she said they don’t come with bacon, but the Grubhub picture and description has bacon on it.
While I was typing this review, a girl called me back that was very apologetic and told me I was actually supposed to recieve 9 cups of ranch since the cheese fries and 3 orders of wings had them included and I ordered 6 extra ? she let me know that I would need to request the refund through Grubhub because they can’t process it on their end. I appreciated the call, but i definitely won’t order delivery again because eating wings without ranch is criminal and I can’t let that happen again.

I didn't want to do this review but after giving the business several days to respond to an email, this seems to be the only way to get their attention... Homegrown used to be one of our favorite places to go in Holly Spgs. However, our last experience with them will be our last. We ordered 3 pizzas for carryout - all 3 were so badly burned as to be inedible. Large portions of each were thrown out simply because they were so bad. It blows my mind that any business would serve paying customers such a product. I would be embarrassed for my name to be associated with something of that poor quality. But apparently it does not bother them, as when I emailed them about it - with both receipt and photo - I received no reply. Still haven't. It would seem that their customer service now ranks right up there with the quality of food they are putting out. Not sure what has happened there, if new owners or what, but based on other recent reviews, this seems to be the norm. Sad, as it used to be such a good establishment.

This review is for take out. We ordered a large half pepperoni and half mushroom pius a large Caesar salad. The pizza was overcooked so as to be burned in some areas. Normally Homegrown's Caesar salad is one of the best around. This lettuce was limp and unpleasant. Looked like it was from a couple of days ago. I've been a customer of Homegrown for 20 years. New owners have not upheld the standards of the previous owner. Sad.

Great food if you eat there. DON’T ORDER DELIVERY! Placed delivery order from their website at 7:40pm, got text that DoorDash is their delivery partner and a link to track the order. Paid an $5 delivery fee and gave a 20% driver tip. After 40 minutes of a status of “Assigning Driver” we called and we’re told the order has been ready for a while but they were waiting on a driver to pick it up. Hungry kids waiting dinner! We have all ordered from DoorDash and there’s very rarely a delay of more than a few mins for a driver to “accept” an order so obviously Homegrown has a negative reputation with the drivers. Asked for a refund and was told I have to contact DoorDash, who said they can’t refund and proceeded to advise we not order from Homegrown due to the number of complaints. Nothing to show for $41 we paid for the order. Wish I had read some of their reviews for pick up orders. Apparently Homegrown is focused on the in-store customers.

The food was good and our server was helpful however, our food took too long to arrive without any initial communication from the server. And even after it did, there were no napkins or silverware at the table. My friend at the table wanted a drink refill and it took so long to even get the servers attention. I don't recollect seeing many other servers even though the place was full, so maybe it was an issue of being understaffed.

You might say to yourself, I got to be at the wrong place, but it's in there. I came here late, 5 minutes before closing, and they were happy to serve me. That is rare. The pizza I ordered is delicious, highly recommend!!
