First visit. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Highly recommended
The breakfast menu is simple, which is fine, but it didn't make sense. A side of (2) bacon is $3. For an extra dollar you can get it in a sandwich with an egg and cheese, yet an egg as a side is $2 and cheese is $1.25. The combos don't give bacon as a meat choice, but the breakfast special doesn't discriminate. If the food was amazing, I suppose the pricing wouldn't matter. The gravy was good, but the biscuits were so tough I struggled to cut them with the knife (that wasn't serrated at all and bent under the pressure).Maybe lunch is better? We're breakfast people. This place isn't one we'll visit again.
Great food and homely environment. Reminds me of the good ole days
I tried, but after 4 visits, I give up. The previous owner of this location might have been unpleasant, but the food was good so the place was always packed. Now, you can get right in and be serviced immediately and it's easy to see why. I chalked the first couple visits up to startup pains, but several months in and no improvement. I ordered the same breakfast (sausage omelet) all four visits and got four different renditions, none of them great. At one visit, my home fries were practically raw, another time burnt to a crisp. Essentially, no consistency whatsoever in the food. Even the toast varied greatly from warm bread to charcoal between visits, and the fact that they're already serving on chipped plates isn't a great look. But, my biggest complaint is in overhearing the owner slander a former employee while speaking to another table. I'm a business owner myself and my rule for all my staff is when someone asks about a former employee, simply say that person moved on to other opportunities. As a side note, I had the employee in question as my server on my first two visits and I found her to be quite pleasant. In summation, I'm back to looking for a new breakfast spot... this isn't it, especially since they also have CNN on in the restaurant. Who wants to watch the lowest rated morning show, on the lowest rated news network, along with bad food?
If you want a good service and good food., come pay a visit to this place. Great food, great service and awesome prices.
Today my husband and I had breakfast at Blessed kitchen, we enjoyed breakfast it was good and the fries was so good, I had to order seconds on the fries. We sat and talk with the owner she was so pleasant, we enjoyed the atmosphere and company of all who worked there and you can bet the Boone’s will be back again and again…. Thank you so much for that delicious meal and friendly conversation. And we’ll have dessert next time
The food is amazing but the staff is better. Absolutely love going and having breakfast and lunch in a place with such a home like atmosphere. Oh and the prices are phenomenal!
