Root & Bone - Hendersonville

Excellent. Finding freshly flown in stone crab in Horseshoe NC was a wonderful surprise. Service was great as well. Definitely worth it.

Both my husband and I got the "meatloaf" it wasn't like traditional meatloaf, it was WAY better. My son (3yo) enjoyed a side of fries and ate them all. He is a very picky eater. I have also had the ribs in the past and they were excellent as well!

From beginning to end we had a wonderful experience at Root & Bone. We are familiar with their former Miami location, so we were happy to see similar menu items. Our server, Xavier was fantastic. Wish he was at each of restaurant visits - excited about the work, knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. We'll be back shortly. Made reservations for 8, to celebrate a birthday, later this month.

We love this place. The fantastic Chicken biscuits are listed as an appetizer but can definitely be an entree. The Trout is also outstanding.

My family ate our Thanksgiving meal at Root & Bone. There was a delicious buffet with a good selection of traditional Thanksgiving food, with a creative touch. The service was outstanding with servers who love their work. The only thing we missed was pumpkin pie, but the pecan pie and the key lime tart was delicious. We will definitely go back.

The food quality of the Thanksgiving buffet was outstanding. The number of offerings were not on par for the price.

We live about an hour and half away from Root & Bone not knowing what to expect. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal with great service and very friendly staff.

This was one of the most enjoyable evenings that I can remember. Joshua was our server. He was very attentive and professional, made for an incredible evening for the 4 of us. The meal was over the top from the appetizers to the entrees to the wine, dessert. I have enjoyed' Shrimp & Grits numerous times over the years in Charleston, but last nights offering was the best that I ever. Many thanks to Root & Bone.

Drink order took more than 30 minutes to receive and we could see them sitting on the bar. Also, drawn butter for $40 crab claw never came even after requesting it.

We had a reservation for 4 and were told no tables were ready by the hostess. There were 3 tables with 4 empty, just waiting to be cleared. It was odd sitting across from the hostess and with the tables about 15ft from her and us, and nothing being done for 15minutes. Dinner was disappointing. The appetizer of 2 chicken biscuits with honey tasted OK, but the biscuit sandwiches were presented with honey dribbled all over them, so you couldn't pick them up to eat without a sticky mess. The wedge salad was awesome! So 3 of the 4 went for the stone crabs, pricey, but fresh and delicious. There were no small forks available to access the crab and the crabs were not cracked thoroughly. Not such a big deal, but at $40 and $55 dollars per claw, it seemed not well thought out. The sides were OK.

R&B had stone crabs, and being from Miami, we had to give them a try. For their first attempt, they were fresh and delicious, but the staff didn't have the proper marrow forks and crackers to get everything from my $40 claw. But the mustard sauce was excellent and authentic. It was a luxury and a splurge. Now, if they cloned the coleslaw from the Miami Beach place known for this dish! My ribs were superb, with one of the best sauces I have ever enjoyed. French fries, sadly à la carte, were perfectly fried and crisp. My wife's salad was very fresh, but the grilled chicken was extremely tough to carve. The crème brûlée and carrot cake were wonderful. We enjoy Root & Bone and will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our meal at Root & Bone. Service was outstanding!!! We had a party of four and everyone was very happy with their entrees, cocktails were also amazing.

My wife and I went for our 22 wedding anniversary and had a great experience. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. The Steak was one of the best I have ever had along with the fried chicken. Highly recommend. Thank You.

Went there with a group of ladies and ordered a wedge salad. It was the smallest wedge I’ve ever seen and there was no avocado or bacon on it and they use ranch dressing with way too much dill in it, instead of blue cheese dressing which does not go with wedge salad and blue cheese crumbles. I usually take photos but unfortunately I forgot this time. This was not worth $17 hell no .
