Great place to stay after being in the saddle riding them twisty country roads. Truly a beautiful place to visit and a great place to rest at night. 👍🏼👍🏼

Great place to eat delicious food anytime but especially great after a dip at the hot springs! Great service too! This is a steak and potatoes kind of place but the trout and chicken tenders are fab too! They have live music on Friday nights...always family friendly.

We ate at the Iron Horse Restraunt during our day trip to Hotsprings. The service was great, and so was the food. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. Very generous portions of food.

Nearby activities: Definitely walk downtown to see all the interesting shops and then take a mineral bath.

Walkability: Restraunt and hotel are very accessible by walking or driving. There are a few parking spots beside the restaurant or a free public parking lot across the street.

Food & drinks: The food was excellent.

My sister had a late lunch. Best meal in 2years. We ask to take home some of the honey mustard and they were more then happy to accommodate.

We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent! My wife and I split two dinners so we could each sample different dishes. We had the steak (NY strip) with fries and coleslaw, and the salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Everything served was exactly to order, and it all tasted amazing. The meal was flat out the best I've had, in a restaurant, in a while. And as good as the food was, our waiter Mark was above and beyond your average server. From his personality, to his recommendations (Mark, the peanut butter pie was awesome!), he was phenomenal. Would definitely return to sample other menu items and highly recommend if you're in the area.

Favorite place to stay near Asheville. Excellent restaurant. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Connor who checked us in and out was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms were great. Hotel has a rustic charm with all the furnishings and decor. Easy access to local hot springs, Asheville, and the appalachian trail. We used the hotel as a base to go see the Biltmore mansion the next day.

Wonderful stay , oh yes the amazing sound of the one train , that hard to capture train , train on what seems like such quant sleepy rails , it was on time , but I slept right through it deamily. The mountains were wonderful and cool after hot day , and morning clouds wrapping the peaks . The sound of the rushing water from the nearby creek . Good stay , it has an antiquated rustic unforgettable charm . The coffee was great and the lounge is personable and private . I sure loved that whistle horn .
