“Cute store with lots of local artisan gifts, books, crafts, clothes. Coffee and baked good are very good. Friendly staff willing to help or provide local recommendations.”
“Great beacon cheeseburgers and crispy fries. Shakes were amazing. Delicious stop. Playing games while waiting was a joy as well. Would give more stars if allowed :)”
“We are staying in Hot Springs with our family and ordered three pizzas for carry out yesterday evening. They were absolutely delicious! The crust was crisp and they weren't loaded down with heavy cheese and toppings like many pizzas are. They definitely appealed to our tastes!! My son loved the light sprinkle of parmesan cheese around the crust.”
“Great brewery! Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Their beer selection is great, something for every tastebud. I had their west coast IPA and it was great. They have food available as well. If having an event, they have an area to rent out for the event. Parking is free and along the street. Can be limited when busy. There is a walking trail near by as well. Close to other businesses and shops to walk around afterwards if you wanted. They have bands once in a while in their outside seating area too.”
“Great tacos! Fresh made chips. Doesnt suck they the are next to a brewery so you can grab a beer or three with your meal. Nice selection of outside seats, shaded and unshaded.”
“Nestled in the heart of Hot Springs, NC and quite literally on the Appalachian Trail, the Iron Horse Station Inn is an absolute must visit destination. The Inn, Restaurant, Cafe, and Artisun Gallery are all top notch. Highly recommended!”
“Nice place. I usually hear that Hot Springs only had one Restaurant and it wasn't this one. Eclectic decor inside but there's an outside deck overlooking a stream that runs through town. The menu is deeper than most taverns. Good sandwiches. Great selection of mostly local beers with a good mix of styles. Nice friendly people.”
“This was hands down one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten. As a chef myself I really appreciated the plating skills and speed. The Chilean sea bass was perfect along with the bed of risotto it was on. I loved the fried oysters as well and for anyone who enjoys cider beers the one they have is really tasty. Overall it was one of the best experiences eating out I’ve had. The service was incredible and this place is definitely a hidden little gem that I recommend to anyone.”
“It's a quirky fun place that bridges establishments back in the day that were often the only place to get supplies for a ways and today's places with fun yard scultptures, unique snacks, and artisan crafts. Just a great vibe.”
“This small diner sits directly off the Appalachian Trail and is known for good food and lots of it. Hikers get really hungry and there are a lot of them, so this place caters to that need. Bring your appetite and prepare for an incredible meal, diner style type food - excellent. I went with the Smokey Mountain Breakfast - 3 eggs over easy, biscuit and gravy, hash browns and chopped steak - 12$. The food was good, inexpensive and there was a lot of it. This is what you expect from a diner and it doesn’t get any better.”
