“Spectacular gem! This is a cozy location with a very unique feel, ample seating and delicious, unique drinks!I normally just get a regular latte, which I did this time- it was very good. I also got “the golden hour”- which was also very good- it’s a great twist on a standard latte and I loved the turmeric! We loved the seating options. They also have games, chess, many books, in addition to supplements and book’s from local authors. The bathrooms are clean, as is the whole establishment. This place is everything I could want in a coffee shop!I’ll certainly be back anytime in in town and I’m jealous of the college students who are able to walk here at any time!Parking: Limited street parking nearby, 2 hour limit.”
“Always has great, interesting flavors of ice cream. Always has dietary options. My favorite flavors in the past have been spicy Mexican hot chocolate and mango sticky rice”
“Great food!! My fiancé said he's never had better spicy flautas, he can't stop talking about it ? I had enchiladas, they were great! Chips are good, queso is great! Will be going every time we visit family now :)”
“I went by in to get a gift card as a thank you for a family member. They were happy to receive it. While I was there Starbucks was giving away peppermint mocha iced coffee samples. I tried one and it was extremely sweet-like hot chocolate. I will not be buying that! I like my coffee without sugar. They were able to ring me up quickly and were very helpful. The gift card choices were displayed out front and one said “thank you” so it was perfect. Overall it was a good experience.”
“On a cold, rainy afternoon working in the area, I stopped by the Wagon Wheel for some good country cooking. The staff provided service with a smile. The coffee was hot and fresh. I think they made a pot just for me. The burger and tater tots were very good. The Wagon Wheel offers home cooked meals at very reasonable prices.”
“This was a great subway restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and smiled alot. My sandwich tasted fresh with adequate amounts of ingredients. Atmosphere was cozy. Very clean. Will be back”
“Good, helpful, very pleasant staff! Tacos Mazatlan and Fish Tacos were well prepared and very tasty! We are disappointed that they do not serve mixed drinks (Margaritas)--only beer and maybe wine. This is Taco Fiesta II in Mars Hill. Maybe they don't have a liquor license yet. Apparently Taco Fiesta I in Brevard does serve cocktails. Be sure to ask for a copy of your receipt, if you want one.”
“Absolutely love this place!Food is delicious, high quality, and clearly made with care. The staff are super friendly. Very prompt, professional, and always make you feel at home. The dining room and bathrooms are always spotless. 10/10.I do think it's interesting that despite all the delicious and zesty flavors found in their menu, the opener has the blandest taste in music. Blasting the Lumineers and Edward Sharpe at 8am is the musical version of steamed, unseasoned broccoli.”
“Good food! Really good! A little pricey....regular cheeseburger and a mac n' cheese was $16.00. I can't afford to eat there a lot, but I do splurge when I can.”
“Very prompt service ! Great food and cooked and presented well. I went here twice but both the only thing was that both times they didn't give any silverware or napkins. Other than that, great.”
“My nostalgia for this place is definitely biasing my review, but Papa Nick's has been here ever since I moved here. Never once had a problem with getting the takeout. The people there often do very well with attention to detail. I think the fact that they have been here so long is indicative of at least something that they are doing right. Better than a lot of pizza places when it comes to food and pricing.”
“Nice quiet little place with pleasant servers. I ordered the Italian sandwich with the side salad. Everything was great. I definitely will have the Italian sandwich again maybe even something else else.”
“Great Italian food here and wonderful to have in our small town of Weaverville! The staff is very welcoming, kind and the service is excellent. Coming here as a family, we felt at home which we really value in returning to a restaurant. The food is great and really enjoy both the pastas and dessert options they have. It’s beautiful inside as well in terms of the atmosphere. Whether you live in town, or outside of it, this is a place well worth visiting for a meal!”
“This was hands down one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten. As a chef myself I really appreciated the plating skills and speed. The Chilean sea bass was perfect along with the bed of risotto it was on. I loved the fried oysters as well and for anyone who enjoys cider beers the one they have is really tasty. Overall it was one of the best experiences eating out I’ve had. The service was incredible and this place is definitely a hidden little gem that I recommend to anyone.”
“We love Hoppy Trees and have been regular patrons since they opened. It is by far one of favorite places to stop in and have a drink. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy and the owner Paul is always welcoming. There is a wide array of drink options from liquor, beer, wine to non-alcoholic items for adults and kids. Snacks are available or you are welcome to bring in outside food. Love art? This is an art bar inspired by Bob Ross and the decor does not disappoint. Local artists are readily displayed throughout the space. There is even a great private room in the back for private gatherings or events. If you are a local or just visiting, I recommend stopping in and staying a while!!”
“Our first time eating here. Very nice dine in experience. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Also have the option to dine outdoors. Food is very good and there's a wide selection. From sandwiches to pasta and pizza. Very reasonable prices. Range from $10-$20. There was three of us and it was around $54.00. I thought this to be a great deal .. Most definitely a place I would go to again and would recommend to anyone.”
“Don't miss this place while in Weaverville. First off, it's small, has beautiful artwork on the walls and very clean. The service is very good with friendly staff. I had the Bistro Burger and Fries, my wife had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with grilled Zucchini. Both of them were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The burger is huge, see photo. In my years of looking for the best of the best burgers, this was it.”
“Great taproom small and cozy recommended by a local. Smaller on the interior but covered patio. Walking distance to Zebulon brewing and other great options in Weaverville. Staff and owners are welcoming and you are supporting a budding scene of great brews owner by great people. Cheers!!”
“I haven't had a pizza from Blue Mountain that I didn't love. Whether it's a single slice for lunch or a whole pizza for dinner. The house salad is also pretty tasty too.”
“Nice regular brewery - pets allowed in front portion. We enjoyed it and town is small. Tough parking large vehicle but 25’ RV was ok. Beer is terrific and changes up.”
“Coffee, lattes excellent many options, pastries options many to chose from we enjoyed a pumpkin muffin, other wonderful pastries, picked up extra pastries for the next few days!Vegetarian options: Pastries very good! Vegan cheese and ham ( vegan not meat) !”
“I would without a doubt make the drive from Asheville to Marshall for the sole purpose of eating their “nachos”. They were absolutely amazing - and if you save some of them for after a night of drinking, they’re insanely better.”
“Everything was perfect as usual , except the fried okra. It had alot of hard stick like places in it. Couldn't chew it or swallow it. It was like eating tree bark shavings. But like I said everything else was 5 stars as usual. One of our favorite places to eat.”
“I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. It was on my list of places to go after surfing yelp. I had the filly cheese steak with fries. It was a good meal. The sandwich was generous and hot. Service was good. The place must be popular as it was full. I will come again and try something else. Maybe the patty melt or Cuban is next.”
“This cafe is exactly what you want when you think of country brunch/breakfast.Hands down one of the best biscuits I have ever had in my entire life. It tasted like a cabin if a biscuit can even taste like a cabin. The people who work here too great you like family. It’s just a cozy place with food that tastes home-cooked. Pancakes were perfect. Literally perfect. My little sister is one of those people who only orders pancakes when we go out to eat and she said they were the best pancakes she’s ever had. So I believe her.”
“This place never disappoints me from the time you walk in till the end they have amazing service, food, and atmosphere. I’d try their ruby roll but if you don’t like sushi their noodle dishes are bomb! Great saki too! Always love coming home and visiting here with friends:)”
“We loooove this coffee shop. The coffee flavors are delicious and the pastries are wonderful. If you're lucky to pop in when they have fresh empanadas, they are fantastic. The staff is super generous and we enjoyed stopping in often during our visit.”
“Such a precious baked goods shop and cafe in the town of weaverville. Their speciality lattes are delicious, along with their lengthy list of pastries, breakfast sandwiches, quiches, etc. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, and it's dog friendly outside. A perfect spot for working on your computer or reading a book.”
“We frequent this establishment for the beer and fun friendly bar vibe. But also the food occasionally - the steak salad is wonderful. Good quality steak thinly sliced so it works so well with the salad. Fresh salad greens and toppings. Best croutons ever are fries!”
“Can't recommend enough. When we dropped my son off at Mars Hill for college I was worried that he wasn't going to have a place to hang out and get a beer without having to get a fake ID, but when we walked up to the bar they didn't even card us! Glad to know there's still places that aren't afraid to bend "the rules" and do business their own way!”
