“Stopped in here for a quick bite and a latte and both were amazing! I got an oat milk vanilla latte and a spinach feta croissant. Yum! The owners are local, roast their own beans, and hand make all the food in-house. Plenty of outdoor seating. Super nice staff. Cute merch, too! Highly recommend.”

“I ordered a cake for my Daughter’s birthday that was gluten, egg and nut free and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter we so excited to finally get to eat a real birthday cake. It made the day extra special. Most of the other bakeries I spoke with couldn’t accommodate making a cake with substitutes within the timeline I was hoping but Shawn was able to help make this happen. We can’t wait to come back and try her other treats!”

“We are in town for a month and have been enjoying Zuma coffee, baked goods (blueberry muffins!) and sandwiches. Great latte, the new espresso machine obviously working well! We’ve been enjoying the sandwiches and planning to try some provisions for an upcoming weekend to make life easier. Recommended!”

“Classic Marshall staple. One of the best burgers in the Madison/Buncombe county area. Not expensive, great variety, and friendly staff. Huge and open sitting area. It's been here for decades and I hope it stays!”

“I brought my family to this modern subway sandwich shop for a nice fresh cold cut sub expecting a typical subway experience. We arrived around 7:30 to a clean modern updated storefront with a cool decor. The young man inside blew me away with his quick friendly service and perfect ingredient proportions. The men working Friday July 31st were not your typical subway employees, they were true sandwich artists 👨‍🎨”

“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!”

“This place is pretty cool! I visited and my husband got the double scoop cookie dough waffle cone ice cream with a homemade blueberry muffin. I got the iced carmel coffee with sugar. It was excellent! There is free parking past the Grey Eagle Taqueria and everything is within a short walking distance. The Resort & Spa is 2 minute drive from here. I love the atmosphere and the feel of the cozy town! The crowd gathers around evening. There's a little gift shop down the road and you can do some rafting. The pizza place nearby does brick oven style pizza and has gluten free options as well.”

“💛WOW!! Best ice cream EVER!!🥳🥳 Meadowsweet Creamery has been on my Bucket List for awhile now and my Husband and I finally stopped by there Today!! We got a double scoop of the Honeycomb and Cherry Cheesecake. I highly recommend the Honeycomb!! It was super DELICIOUS!!🍯🐝 If you are an ice cream lover than this Creamery is a MUST!! We will for sure be back again to try their Lemon/Lavender🍋🪻 ice cream next!! Also Super Friendly and fast Service and an Awesome Shop in general. Can't wait to stop by there again!!🍨💛”

“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.”

“We passed by Wagbar on our way to our Airbnb and just knew we had to visit. So many happy dogs playing, my dog was anxious to join everytime we passed by. I love that they take being up to date on vaccines serious. We were greeted by what I called the "Welcome committee" consisting of 3 huge golden retrievers. Got inside, ordered a few drinks and set Stash free. He was right away accepted into the group of dogs playing and shown around. Not only were all the dogs friendly and very social, but their owners were as well. Great conversations were had. Absolutely recommend this place. The employee working that day(can't remember her name) was amazing with the dogs. She took notice anytime the dogs were "bored". She would come out and entice them to play around. Hilarious seeing the regulars reaction to her approach because they KNEW what was up haha! Can't wait to visit again when we are in town.”

The kava tender who worked tonight was quick, efficient and friendly and the beverages are priced reasonably well as with the quality is excellent. Regulars come to perform awesome music for everyone to jam out to. Definitely recommend stopping by 👍”

“I attended a catered breakfast event. The quiche was clearly homemade with a very flaky crust. The orange marmalade jelly was excellent with very slender pieces of orange in it.

The sausage gravy was the meatiest I’ve ever seen or had anywhere, for those people that are trying to get in more protein this one counts!

All in all a meal that excelled.”
