It made the day extra special. Most of the other bakeries I spoke with couldn’t accommodate making a cake with substitutes within the timeline I was hoping but Shawn was able to help make this happen. We can’t wait to come back and try her other treats!”

“This was amazing! The pizza is so good, the staff is so nice, and the atmosphere is just pleasant to be around! We got a cheese, pepperoni and goat cheese-fig-bacon-pizza. They were to die for! There was a small band playing which was also nice. We decided to sit outside and it was very nice as well. The bathrooms were clean, the staff is polite, and the pizza is good. We WILL be coming back!”

“We are in town for a month and have been enjoying Zuma coffee, baked goods (blueberry muffins!) and sandwiches. Great latte, the new espresso machine obviously working well! We’ve been enjoying the sandwiches and planning to try some provisions for an upcoming weekend to make life easier. Recommended!”

“Classic Marshall staple. One of the best burgers in the Madison/Buncombe county area. Not expensive, great variety, and friendly staff. Huge and open sitting area. It's been here for decades and I hope it stays!”

“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!”

“💛WOW!! Best ice cream EVER!!🥳🥳 Meadowsweet Creamery has been on my Bucket List for awhile now and my Husband and I finally stopped by there Today!! We got a double scoop of the Honeycomb and Cherry Cheesecake. I highly recommend the Honeycomb!! It was super DELICIOUS!!🍯🐝 If you are an ice cream lover than this Creamery is a MUST!! We will for sure be back again to try their Lemon/Lavender🍋🪻 ice cream next!! Also Super Friendly and fast Service and an Awesome Shop in general. Can't wait to stop by there again!!🍨💛”

“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.”

“We passed by Wagbar on our way to our Airbnb and just knew we had to visit. So many happy dogs playing, my dog was anxious to join everytime we passed by. I love that they take being up to date on vaccines serious. We were greeted by what I called the "Welcome committee" consisting of 3 huge golden retrievers. Got inside, ordered a few drinks and set Stash free. He was right away accepted into the group of dogs playing and shown around. Not only were all the dogs friendly and very social, but their owners were as well. Great conversations were had. Absolutely recommend this place. The employee working that day(can't remember her name) was amazing with the dogs. She took notice anytime the dogs were "bored". She would come out and entice them to play around. Hilarious seeing the regulars reaction to her approach because they KNEW what was up haha! Can't wait to visit again when we are in town.”

The kava tender who worked tonight was quick, efficient and friendly and the beverages are priced reasonably well as with the quality is excellent. “This place is a true diamond in the rough. It. doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you try their food, you’ll be hooked. The menus is extensive and they have something for everyone, and every thing I’ve had has been excellent. The Prime Rib is delicious and at 22.dollars can’t be beat! . The derive is friendly and knowledgeable and Windy the waitress is true gem.. ask to be seated in her section and you won’t be disappointed. I could easily say this is one of my favorite restaurants in the Asheville area.”
