Really enjoyed my visit to this diner in Hot Springs NC. Had breakfast - food was really good. Had the Smoky Mountain breakfast. PS: They have WiFi there - worth asking as I had no signal .RECOMMEND.
My friends and I met halfway at the Smoky Mountain Diner, we both drove 46 miles to this meeting point. The restaurant was fabulous, great food, very good prices and a very friendly staff.

This small diner sits directly off the Appalachian Trail and is known for good food and lots of it. Hikers get really hungry and there are a lot of them, so this place caters to that need. Bring your appetite and prepare for an incredible meal, diner style type food - excellent. I went with the Smokey Mountain Breakfast - 3 eggs over easy, biscuit and gravy, hash browns and chopped steak - 12$. The food was good, inexpensive and there was a lot of it.
