Food & drinks: Great restaurant with full bar. We had the steak, which was marvelous, paired with a baked potato and grilled garlic asparagus. My wife had the bourbon glazed salmon, which was amazing. All cooked to order and all incredibly tasty.

Nestled in the heart of Hot Springs, NC and quite literally on the Appalachian Trail, the Iron Horse Station Inn is an absolute must visit destination. The Inn, Restaurant, Cafe, and Artisun Gallery are all top notch. Highly recommended!

Delicious restaurant and friendly staff. We ordered the iron horse burger and buffalo chicken burger with fries and both were the bomb. The architecture was beautiful and beers on tap are great. Highly recommend!

I can only speak on the restaurant, I can't speak on the rooms due to the fact that I never stayed there. My husband and I had lunch at the Iron Horse yesterday, and I have a few thoughts.The Spinach Dip is not worth it. It comes served in a tiny bowl, with cold pita bread. If the presentation was different, I would recommend it. If it were served in a small cast iron skillet, and the cheese was melted and the pita was warm... I would recommend it!The main entrees were DELCIOUS! The sides.. not so much. My husband got the BBQ burger, and WOW! What a great sandwich. It was over cooked, but the bbq sauce was out of this world!I got the trout, and the seasoning was fantastic! The sides were all terrible. We didn't eat them. We felt like this meal could have been a lot better if the kitchen stepped it up a bit. The fries were over cooked, the greens were too vinegary (if that's a word) and just get rid of the cole slaw. It was rancid.Other than that, it was good. Great service, cute spot, and again... I can't speak on the rooms, but seems like a great place to stay.

Iron Horse Station in Hot Springs is the perfect place for a get away. The food is fabulous, the service is wonderful and the Inn and Covered Wagons are so nice! The owners Karen and Gary are the perfect hosts! They have created a fun relaxed atmosphere for their guests to enjoy. We love it!!!

Had really good food here. It is a bit expensive, but I do believe it is worth it. A very comfortable atmosphere as well as a lot of historical literature about the area. If you go to Hot Springs, NC stop here for some food.

We LOOOVVVEEE Iron Horse!!! We were just there for Monday thru Thursday and forgot they were closed!! We knew the winter hours were different and should've went on Monday but wanted to go Tuesday and we screwed up. Still got to eat in town but wanted this so bad. We live and hour n half away so we will be driving over one weekend soon!!! We love and missed seeing you iron horse!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
