The wife and I enjoyed breakfast at the Smoky Mountain Diner. The portions are big so come with an appetite. The biscuits are so buttery and to die for according to the wife. Everything we had was delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating to your needs. A cozy dinner to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend when you stop through Downtown Hot Springs come enjoy a meal here.
We stopped here on Labor Day 2024 at 1:18pm and they closed at 2pm. They welcomed us with open arms. I'm telling you..I'm gonna be dreaming of the food. Everything looked amazing..but the sides are what intrigued me most. I got the veggie plate. Cucumber salad, pintos, corn fritters and the sweet potato casserole. I was immediately taken back to my childhood. If I could have that cucumber salad every day I would. It was like having a family meal straight out of my childhood...
2nd time we have visited Hot Springs and 2nd time eating at SM Diner ...food is amazing, staff was friendly! I had the burger and bf had the Hamburger Steak that he bragged on! They are closed on Sunday, but we stayed an extra day and ate there Monday...you won't be disappointed for sure!
