Love this place when it first opened. It just doesn't seem clean anymore. It was lovely at first

Overall the food was great, I will say that the kung pao chicken had way too much celery in it. Other than that everything else was great. Chicken feet nice and tender, pot stickers were on point.

Food unfortunately did not have the flavor I expected it was just okay, service was not the fastest or most present but did their job. A lot of noise.

I got the veg spring rolls (very greasy, boring sauce, very mushy inside), the dumplings (felt kind of hard/chewy and bread-like - also greasy), and the kung pao chicken (pretty decent, but was served lukewarm temperature). Everything in the restaurant felt sticky, especially the filthy menus which were all totally covered in grime and splattered food. The overall vibe felt and looked cheap, as did the food. There are much cleaner, higher-quality restaurants in the area. I'd skip this place.
Went there right after they opened so it took a long time to get the food out. They sent dishes out as they got done so we couldn't enjoy everything all together. The riblet in black bean sauce (dim sum) was too tough and it had a taste to it like overdue pork. I did enjoy the new beef egg drop soup (west lake beef soup). We had to take the sweet & sour ribs to go since it took too long and we had elsewhere to be. Overall place is meh.

This was my family’s first visit here, and we certainly will be coming back. Service was great, and the food was excellent. We especially enjoyed all of the dim sum and the sweet/sour chicken. Absolutely will be returning

You should know right off that you don’t get rice with the meal. It is an extra charge. I’ve eaten at Chinese restaurants from Seattle to San Francisco to New York to New Orleans and I’ve never had to pay extra for rice! And it will be about 1/2 what expect also. That is cheeky !!!
Enjoyed the Kung pao chicken and the dumplings were really good! Friendly service as well.
I was told BaoBao was great food with awesome service. They were right with the service, super nice people. The food on the other hand was mid at best. It tasted very much like fast food you would get in a mall food court.

When I say my daughter @ i fell in love!! We literally ate here 5 days in a row during our 5 day trip to Huntersville. It’s all amazing, but we particularly loved the pork soup dumplings, the black pepper beef, the chicken lettuce wraps and the chocolate soup dumplings!
I had the Mongolian beef for dinner the other night and it was incredible, so I decided to get it for lunch and it was absolutely disgusting!!! I also got the chicken fried rice and it was awful. I’m so disappointed.
Been multiple times been ignore by service staff for at least 5 minutes each time when the restaurant was completely empty- if you want service sit at a table other than that food is great
Great dim sum and a nice spin on the traditional Chinese. We've been back many times.
We went on a quiet Wednesday afternoon around 2pm, its a cozy restaurant and decorated well. The food was pretty good, kind of pricey for what you are getting for and I really didn't understand having to pay the extra 2.50 for rice with a fully priced entree, never seen that before. But all in all, we had a good time and enjoyed the food. Our server was great!
