The only place where I can find decent Jamaican food while in Charlotte. Compared to home in South FL which is where I live. Anytime I’m in Charlotte Carribean Hut is my go to. I have never been disappointed.
The restaurant is clean. The music is played at a tolerable level to allow to be able to comfortably have a conversation with another person. The staff is very friendly and personable. My son said his cocktail drink was really good. He had the rum punch. We both had oxtails. The servings are huge. I opted to not get the peas and rice. My cabbage was decent but it tastes like sugar was added. I don’t care for sweet taste in my cabbage. I’m use to getting more plantains at other...
The best and most authentic chicken curry. I simply love it. Large portions and reasonable prices. It is a great addition as a diverse food option. Tamika is great. She is warm and smiling and knows exactly what I always order. Great person and helpful.
