Our waiter Jennifer was amazing! Our food was great, I had the halibut and it was awesome! The noise level was a bit loud but not terrible and the inside of the restaurant was very pretty
Thank you for great service and wonderful food. Enjoyed a cocktail from your menu - delicious. The raw bar selections were fantastic and the food was cooked perfectly. Looking forward to our next visit.
This was our second visit to Fin and Fino. The lamb pasta was spectacular as were the fries. The shrimp cocktail was just okay. We sat outside which is lovely if not a bit noisy and chaotic with all the Birkdale cars and people. I still recommend sitting outside! Our server Chris was great and we enjoyed our experience and will return!
Sat the the Chefs table with a party of 8. Service, food was great! Fast attentive, fun and delicious small plates! We never waited more than a couple minutes for a drink or the next round of plates. Highly recommend, especially if you happen to be dining on a an expense account! Not that it was unreasonable or overpriced, but it does get “pricey” if your party eats and drinks a lot !
My wife and I had a dinner date recently and the whole experience was excellent. Our server was polite, informative, and professional. The cocktails were fantastic. The food was fresh, cooked perfectly and was delicious. We will certainly be back!
We ordered a little gem salad and trout to share. Salad was not appetizing and lettuce (clearly just romaine) was brown in spots. Trout was extremely small, overcooked and had very little meat. Overall, very disappointing. We will not go back.
The room is nicely done, looks new. Gil our server was very good in explaining the menu, suggesting wine to go with our meal etc. I offered the grilled oysters they were very small and the sauce overpowered everything. Little Gem salad was ok but was a huge portion, enough for 2 . Mussels were A small portion I felt for a no entree they tasted ok. Food runner served them with a spoon not a cocktail fork. Wife had halibut which was good. Carrot cake dessert was just average. Might ago back a 2nd time
The menu is a little challenging to figure out until they walk you through it - which was about 30min after we arrived. They say it is tapas style - except for when it isn't. Only about 1/3 of tables were seated but service was quite slow (kitchen seemed ok - I think it was our server - so maybe they work out the kinks) Food was tasty - crab dip may be best in town. Fish was prepared well. Would skip the desserts - they came out the fastest and tasted like they had been pre-cut and placed on a plate waiting an order. Cakes were dry. The bill was one of the higher ones we've had in a while - which didn't seem to match what we had. Lots of individual orders that are each expensive. Drinks are good ($16 each) - but you have to let the bartender give you their creative expression of your drink. I ordered 2 old fashions and they were extremely different (without asking - just brought it out and explained what it was). If you want something specific - not your place.
We had an excellent experience at Finn & Fino last night. The food was outstanding and was served immediately after it was prepared as entrees were hot and fresh. Everyone in our party of four was impressed with the portion size and very pleased with what we ordered. We had oysters, hot crab dip, beet salad, salmon, shrimp and halibut. Our server was very good as well.
Fin & Fino was absolutely fabulous. From the food (oh my, the desserts) and the sevice (Allie was amazing), it was an all around fantastic experience. This will be one of my favorite places.

My husband and I dined here and Scott was our host. He was very patient in educating us about the lobster dishes that were apart of the 4 course meal we chose. He also educated us on some menu items that were not included with our meal but sounded very good. He kept our dietary restrictions in mind when making suggestions and was overall just an outstanding waiter. The courses were bought out in a timely manner and were delicious. I wish the lobster Mac was baked or had more cheese, just felt like something was missing. But all the other dishes, (lobster palm? and the lobster tail with potatoes and asparagus) were delicious! The chocolate cake was great too!
The service was unacceptable, we had to wait 20 minutes to get our drinks and the waiter did not come back for another 25 minutes to take our food order. When we received our food the Salmon was burned on the bottom, my mussels dish had shells without mussels the size portion is that of a tapas restaurant. We did not have the server or manager ask us how our food was. We were celebrating my birthday and all of the other tables received options for complimentary dessert. I was not offered anything. We received our check and the server never came back to get the cash so we just left it on the table and left. This was my first visit to the Birkdale location I have never experienced anything like that at the Charlotte location. I had been looking forward to a meal there for my birthday. I was very disappointed
Foods was outstanding and everyone enjoyed sharing such delicious food. We ended up ordering several of the lamb pasta and tuna dish as a big hit and exceptional! Everyone was really happy with my recommendation.
Great new place! Awesome addition to Birkdale and to the LKN area. Bright, lively atmosphere. Server Matt was the greatest; Knowledgeable, fun and attentive. The entire atmosphere was great. From drinks to food, all was creative and tasty.
Don't miss the tuna crudo, halibut, and scallops—each dish is a standout. The portions are moderate, and the prices are reasonable, making this hidden gem well worth a visit.
