Food was excellent! Would return for the food but our service was awful. We sat outside and there was another waitress outside who came back several times for her tables and our waitress came back twice. When my food came out, part of it was missing an ingredient I added on and had to wait a while just to eat it since our waitress didn’t come to even check on the food so I could get the missing ingredient by itself. I had to grab the other waitress just to get our check and we were not her table. I’m not sure if she just forgot about us or what. It was around 4pm so not like there was a huge dinner rush.

We’ve always enjoyed dining at eeZ Fusion & Sushi, especially for the custom poke bowls with greens. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are great, but we’ve noticed a concerning trend—the portion of salmon has been steadily decreasing with each visit, and it feels like greens are being used to replace the salmon. While we appreciate the healthy options, we’d prefer the balance of protein and greens to remain consistent. We hope this can be addressed, as we truly love the food and want to continue recommending eeZ to others!

Long time customer. Flavors are still good, but portions have taken a drastic hit. Our pork belly kimchi fried rice contained mostly rice with small bits of pork belly fat with a portion of meat so small, you can count them on one hand. I actively had to look for pork belly to include on each scoop.

Service started out good. Waiter was asking and exchanging information about culture(Us being Chinese and him being Brazilian). However, things took a turn when he started asking my mom how to say things in Chinese you would never say to your own mother. Absolutely disgusting.

You got way too comfortable. We are not your friends, we are your customer. Moreover, what made you think it was okay to say anything like that to a middle aged woman in front of her mom and her son? You need to do a lot better.

I've been here for to go and dine in. They have drink specials each day and I try to go when there is a good special. The sushi is fresh and the drinks are good.

The food here is really good. Prices are pretty reasonable. There is something here for everyone.

But, do yourself a favor and do takeout. They make you wait 30 minutes for a table even though there are 8 open tables available. I feel like I at the club in line when the venue is empty.

One of the worst restaurants in Huntersville. Been going here for about 15 years, one of the worst declines I've witnessed. The service is good, its what you would expect, atmosphere is good, good for Birkdale. The food is horrific. Nigiri and the fish taste like clay/playdough. The chicken taste like water and could tell it was frozen for weeks. No flavor, no freshness, just horrible. Wouldn't give this food to my worst enemy, the suffering was that bad. -100/10

To the owner of this restaurant: You used to serve quality and all you serve now is garbage. Fix you quality.

eeZ Fusion & Sushi - Birkdale Village
I recently visited eeZ Fusion & Sushi in Birkdale Village and had a mixed experience. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, but unfortunately, the noodles were undercooked, which was a bit disappointing. However, the broth had a rich and flavorful taste that somewhat made up for it.
The service was decent; the staff were friendly and attentive, though not particularly outstanding. Appetizers were fast but drinks took awhile. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a modern sushi and fusion restaurant—comfortable and loud/busy, but nothing extraordinary.
What truly stood out was the location. Found in the heart of Birkdale Village, eeZ is surrounded by a wide variety of charming shops and attractions, making it a perfect spot for a meal before or after exploring the area. The convenience of the location definitely added to the overall experience.
In summary, while the food had its ups and downs, the prime location and decent service make eeZ Fusion & Sushi a place worth visiting, especially if you’re already in the Birkdale area.

Dietary restrictions: They are very careful about gluten meals. It took a lot longer to make the meal.
