Food was good, service was friendly but intermittent. To get our check we had to go inside, but no one was at the host stand so we waited a good 20 minutes for someone to come out so we could pay. This was a Sunday (3/10) when they weren’t terribly busy, but I think staffing is still proving to be an issue here.This review more reflects that extra tip was added to our final check, almost double what I originally wrote on the receipt. I understand servers are underpaid, but I didn’t see a minimum gratuity policy posted anywhere, nor was it added to my bill, so this is just simple theft. Make sure to watch your debit/credit accounts when you leave and keep a copy or picture of your receipt.

Amazing place to come and have some drinks or just eat with someone special. Try the jack Daniels burger it's literally amazing food.

Went on a Saturday for lunch. The shopping center was super busy and it was very hard to find parking, but that is not the fault of the restaurant.No one was up front to seat my friend and I (no patrons seated in the front section either) but the sign said wait to be seated, so we stood there for about 5-7 minutes with no assistance. We finally walked ourselves to the bar area and asked if we could sit there. A passing server said it was fine and kept going so we just picked a spot in the corner. It appeared there were maybe 5 employees in the entire restaurant and about 4-5 tables/bar groups in our area.We waited for another 5-10 minutes for a server to approach with menus and get our drink orders. My friend ordered a Guinness and it didn't get brought to our table until after the appetizer and right as our lunch arrived.The food was good but the overall vibe of the place was confusing.How is the shopping center so busy everywhere else, with most places on a wait, but only 4-5 tables seated in the restaurant on a Saturday at lunch? How is the server so busy they can't come by the table when there's hardly anyone else in the place? If the server's attitude had been pleasant and she had at least pretended to want to be there, I would rate higher, but all in all the atmosphere was unwelcoming, service was slow, and it appears many other people have experienced it and gone elsewhere in Birkdale as a result.I probably won't be back even though the food was good.

I rarely do bad reviews. The food was decent, it could have definitely been way better. But, the service was ??????. We encountered attitude and slow service with our meal from the server. The hostess was great though. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Very rarely do I Leave a bad review, it takes a lot for me to leave one and in this case it is warranted to let people know.My daughter was in town from Atlanta and took her to Fox and hound For a Christmas dinner. They were only at around 30% capacity.We ordered drinks and an appetizer, it took more than normal to get the drinks And after about 20 minutes, we asked the waitress about our appetizer and not to bring it if it comes out with our food.She went into the kitchen and came out with the appetizer which were nachos, it was a large plate with cold cheese and barely any meat on them.A few minutes later, they came out with the food, which was OK because the nachos were terrible and didn’t want to finish them.My friend and I ordered the Jack Daniels burger, and my daughter ordered chicken tenders, my friend ordered hers without pickles and onions, but they put them on anyway. Both of our burgers were saturated with some type of Sauce and the burger was very cold. The burger was small and had two very thin small pieces of bacon and the cheese was not melted. Before I ordered them, I thought to myself for $17. This burger better be great and it wasn’t even close. I would’ve enjoyed a Wendy’s burger or a whopper far, more than this burger.That was the worst and most wasted $120 I’ve ever spent, I will never recommend this place to anybody.

The food and service were terrible. On a night that they were not that busy. Got nachos for appetizer and had to ask about it before it got brought out to us. When we did get it, the cheese was already cold and there was hardly any chicken on it. The JD burgers were not good for the money they cost $17 each. I had to ask to get my tea refilled after it sat there empty for almost 20 minutes and the waitress still took 15 minutes to bring it out. Terrible. Will never be going here again.

Cookie blitz arrived burnt with melted Icecream on it. Since when does the ice cream not come packaged separately when someone orders online? I guess since I didn't spend $150+ this time around and only ordered one thing I got this kind of treatment.Melted Icecream, and burnt on the bottom. 0 stars. I'll order from somewhere else next time.

For the price we thought this place would be at least a little nicer. Definitely more bar than dine! Food was bland and blah and the service was “okay”. Our server was friendly but not super attentive.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. The employees literally could not care less about helping any customers. I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times and everytime it has been worse. I went in today and will not go back. I had pick up order today and I went to spot in back by bar were they have set up for pick ups and my food was supposed to be ready by 4:40 I arrived at 5:00 my food was not there so I tried to ask 3 employees and they all withered ignored me or said something rude to me and walked off. During this time I notice that the only people I see in restaurant are the employees and multiple ‘employees are sitting at bar hanging out and drinking and then getting up going behind bar and making themselves and others more drinks and then sitting back down.I did not get my food until 5:27 when it was supposed to be done by 4:40. The food is good but definitely not worth the hassle. Never do pick up or even go to this restaurant. Way better options for cost in same shopping center

Worst service ever! Paid my bill before I got my desert. Had to track the waitress down to box it up to go! Will never come back. This establishment has gone to the dogs no pun intended for sure! Unreal and we had a party of 14 at least.

Seattle the bartender is a friendly guy- except to those of color. Been here several times after work and always get weird vibes from the guy. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re really hungry or trying to get
