This is my new favorite spot. Sip on a great selection of wine, food options are tasteful and staff go above and beyond. Manager makes his paces and greets customers, ambience is comfortable especially outdoor seating and space heaters. Consider me a “regular” travel visitor, I shall return.

A cool and cozy place with a welcoming atmosphere; I keep coming back for the truly tasty appetizers and, importantly for me, their delicious filtered water—something that’s surprisingly hard to find elsewhere. The staff are always super friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Every visit feels relaxing and enjoyable, whether I come alone or with friends. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great service and quality food.

This is a great spot and personally don’t know how anyone doesn’t give a 5 star review. The staff is amazing, wine is amazing and the food is great as well. We appreciate the outside sitting and atmosphere!

Came for predinner drinks and was surprised by how disappointed I was. I ordered a glass of wine that was $16 for a 6oz pour, and my wife’s was $14, both per the menu. The bartender asked if we wanted 6, 8 or 10 ounces. We went with 8 ounces since we had about an hour before our reservation. I paid with a $50 gift card and it wasn’t enough. My $16 glass of wine became $26 - which means they charged me $10 for two additional ounces. What kind of math is that???? We won’t be back.

Edit: management of Foxcroft reached out to me and apologized for the mistake (which is what it turned out to be) and made a generous offer to make up for the error. So it turns out we will be back! Also, kudos to the team for not just ignoring my issue - well done.

Had dinner with a friend. I really enjoyed the wine and the service was great. The food was the least enjoyable part of the experience. The fries were good but the ribeye was not. It could have been seared better. It was overcooked in areas and tough to cut. I finally gave up. I was disappointed.

Foxcroft Wine Co. in Birkdale is an absolute gem. Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and unforgettable. On top of that, the wine selection is incredible—walls of options, and the staff really knows their stuff. They’re helpful without being pushy, and always happy to recommend the right pour based on your taste.

The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and relaxed, making it great for a casual night out or a special occasion. And while it’s a wine-focused spot, the beer selection is solid too—a nice bonus.

Whether you're there for a glass, a bottle, or just that epic burger, Foxcroft delivers every time. A must-visit in Birkdale!

Everything about the experience was first rate. We dined in the attractive main dining area. The food was delicious. Our server Olivia was delightful and professional. A lovely evening overall. Will eagerly return.
