Our primary waitress was Elizabeth. Her service and attitude was excellent. My wife and I will ask for her by name when we eat at Fresh Chef again. All of the other young people who served us were excellent also. The food was very good! Thank You.

We really enjoyed! ESPECIALLY The Marsala Meatloaf, the bottled wine selections (half price on Thursdays!), and the service! The folks working were warm and welcoming, knowledgeable young professionals. Unfortunately I forgot our servers name but—this guy’s service TOWERS above. Prices are really good for the quality and quantity you receive. 6 out of 5 recommend!

Cutest quaintest hidden gem in Huntersville. Today my friend and I popped in here for lunch on a whim. We were entered through the patio area which is extremely spacious. The hostess was friendly and welcomed us in. Our waitress was Kendall and she was amazing. The menu is ongoing so I was overwhelmed with choices so I had Kendall make some suggestions. I ordered fish tacos for me and my friend and $5 mimosas! I had a side of. Geese grits while my friend had fries. Tbe inside is cute without being too casual or too fancy. The Saturday crowd of people were friendly. The tacos taste fresh and the sauce that they use is so delicious! Talking about a party in your mouth. The manager came around and asked about the meal. Kim explained the hours and told us more about the restaurant. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer! First let me say we had great service. Waitress was as sweet as she could be. The location is really nice with outdoor seating and it’s shame bc the food is terrible. Daughter had salmon - it had no seasoning. Husband had grits and Tuna that were so bland. I got soggy fries. The brownie desert tasted like those brownies you get from little Debbie. Nothing was “fresh”. We won’t be back.

Been going from the time they opened, but it's starting to go downhill! Poor noon management and rock music don't work with the vibe of the place. Food portions and quality are not good anymore. We would go once to twice a week, but we don't have any plans to return unless it changes.

Had the crab cake entree with a side of white cheddar grits and asparagus. The asparagus was well seasoned but everything else was terribly bland. The mustard sauce served with it may have been shipped with a mustard seed at some point but it never made it to the sauce. It may be made by La Croix. The grits were dry with no salt and I am doubting the presence of cheese aside from the mild yellow cheddar sprinkled over the top. My wife ordered the tomato basil soup. She returned the first one after finding some kind of twig/toothpick in it. The second bowl was good despite being lukewarm. We ordered the blueberry cobbler and key lime square for dessert. The cobbler was actually a bread pudding with a suggestion of blueberries. We did not finish it The key lime square was edible if you scraped the curd off the burnt crust. They were busy so the rest of the menu must be adequate but what we had wasn't good enough to even warrant a second chance. Our waitress was great but despite sending something back we only saw management for that brief second when they ask how everything is before you actually taste the food.

I always try to support small businesses in the area but I’m extremely disappointed in the undisclosed surcharge they are adding for credit card users. “Everyone one does it” is not an acceptable excuses for raising menu prices, reducing portion sizes AND adding a surcharge. If you want to implement a surcharge, advertise it so customers know before they decide to dine, not after a meal when the check arrives. Not being upfront feels dishonest. Yes, I spoke to the manager who told me he had no control over it because it was implemented by their finance person. A finance person who never talks to customers. So if you are thinking of going to the chain, know upfront you will pay more, get less and be charged for paying your bill. Enjoy!
