Small ice cream shop. Scooping ice cream out of freezer display cases. Polite young man behind the counter.

I like to support small local businesses that care and show they are investing in their shop. In other words I wanted to like this place. But regrettably the shop falls short in most ways.

Staff does not wear any protective clothing or gloves or hair net.

Single cup was ridiculously small.

Ice cream tasted very old.

There are other nearby shops equipped better, cleaner and more comfortable.

First timers, I got a hot fudge sundae. The lack of hot fudge and toppings was embarrassing. The scoops where small too.

This is a cute shop in a good location with great selections but be warned that as of 3/16/24, there was no county sanitation rating posted anywhere that was easily visible to customers. Additionally, the three young men that were serving us ice cream cones and shakes were not wearing gloves at all for the 20 min I was in the shop. But gloves were visible and available to them. What’s worse is that they were overseeing transactions at the register, moving tins of ice cream around and wiping down equipment with dish rags without washing or sanitizing their hands in between activities or prior to serving food. Again this is a GREAT shop with incredible selections and the staff was friendly enough but the sanitation of the place should be considered before eating here.

Great little place! Ice cream is delicious. Kids working there are attentive and polite. They gave my dog a cone, so he says 2 dewclaws up!!
