Ordered the Brisket sandwich for lunch and it was full of fat. I don't mind a little fat but 90% of the sandwich was fat. I won't be ordering from them again.

Good food and good service from both the front staff and the back. The establishment was very clean. I had pulled pork with collards and both were great. Will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area.

We tried the new roadhouse waygu smash burger.

Food was delicious they have a great variety of sauces good came out hot and service was excellent. The chicken bbq was ok but just a very new idea for me and I would probably look into some other fry options and look at possible adding some turkey in the mix on the regular plates but all in all I would highly recommend this place! Also be sure to get a glass of sweet tea it was excellent!

Ordered burnt ends and half of them were pure fat and others were fatty. Hickory pulled chicken very good. Pulled pork good.
Very dark where we were seated.
I will not be back.

Absolutely amazing dinner! The pulled pork was tender and flavorful, the collard greens and hush puppies were delicious, and that skillet cornbread with butter and honey was out of this world. Everything tasted homemade and full of love. Great service and cozy atmosphere — can’t wait to come back

Yes, you should go. Greeted with a warm welcome. I feel that's always nice on a busy weekend night. Seated fairly fast for a large party (14 w/a few Littles). Wonderful server (Lakell) if you're lucky enough to get him. Perfect at taking and delivering the huge order. Attentive, smiling and extra kind. The food is something to write home about. Love the skillet cornbread. It's a meal in itself. You have to have it. You must. Love the chopped salad which includes so much good stuff! The nachos are huge and have everything on them that make nachos special. I've not had a bad meal there. Midwood is a family Fav. Whether it's the burnt ends or the chopped pork, never disappointed. Prices are pretty reasonable, too.
