First time eating from this establishment 9/16/25. The staff is very friendly and polite, clean atmosphere, and toppings for the salad is filled with flavor. The broccoli soup was 10/10 and I highly recommend it.

Today I was very hungry and confused about what to eat so I stopped in for a bite. From the door I was greeted by the employees and was well tooken care of with a lot of patience while I was confused and hungry. Michelle was AWESOME. She knows her stuff and was more concerned about what I wanted. Thanks girly. I’ll be back soon to see you. Make sure y’all take good care of her. The overall team was great.

Worst customer service. Stop looting. They’re charging extra for everything though it’s mentioned in the list. Good luck… I am never gonna come to this store again.

The Newport News SaladWorks location is one of my favorite lunch spots. I think I’ve became a regular by now haha. Whenever I crave my grilled chicken Caesar salad, hands down, this is the best place to go! All of the staff is so kind , friendly and welcoming, greeted with smiles from everyone. I was encouraged to download the app to build my points and already received my free salad early on, I recommend this location to everyone. Especially considering their extensive salad and sandwhich menu! Y’all will enjoy the experience!

Stay away!!! I used to be a regular customer and on my first visit back in months. I was completely turned off again. Seeing the heath score drop from last time I was in. I figured I'm here let's give it a shot anyway. As we went down the salad bar I watch the employee swat away a fly or bug contsantly. I watched smoke pour off their little grill while another employee put a sandwich on. While it looked caked with black burnt stuff. The air conditioner was either off or broken. The soda machine had half of the drinks out of syrup. There was dust all around the containers that was holding the silverware and napkins. The tray my food was on felt sticky. And the roll was rock hard.

Needless to say I will not be returning.

Got two salads here for $30 which is insane but I paid extra for additional dressing and my husband requested crispy chicken on his salad. When we got home there was no extra dressing so there was $1.50 something wasted and my husband's salad had like 3 tiny pieces of chicken on his salad. For the cost, I'd get better quality at a fast food place.

What’s going on with your service? I’ve been coming here for three years and have always ordered lunch. At first, the service was excellent – the staff was friendly and welcoming. However, since last year, the service has really declined. I went to pick up my lunch on Wednesday, and the guy who handed me my food had terrible service. This is the first time I’m seriously considering whether I should return.
