One of my favorite Thai restaurants. I usually love the food. I was disappointed with the snapper.

Waited for 20 minutes to be sat just to be told it would be another 30 to 45 minutes just to get sat in a half empty restaurant. Servers were yelling at each other. Just a horrible experience

The food was ok, but the service was really not that good. I was so disappointed. I ordered a drink, but I didn't drink much, so I asked for a to-go cup at the end. The younger lady gave me a cup, but it was broken. When I poured my drink in, it started leaking fast, so I told the younger lady right away. She responded really slowly and didn't even say sorry. Her attitude was not great. I thought she would bring me a new drink since my drink was almost all gone, but no, she just brought me another cup and walked away without saying a word. She didn't even wipe the table for me. I still have to pay for the full price, and I still tipped even though I shouldn't have. That was very unprofessional, and I don't think I will want to go back there again.

No.1 Thai food in US that I have been tried. It's more delicious than eating in Thailand. I like it.

Glad I came back to try this place again after several years. It was a much better experience than in times past. Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and had to wait a while because this place did not open until noon, which is actually a bit late to open for lunch, but it was worth the wait.

I came with a taste for pad thai, but saw a picture of the thai fried chicken wings while I was waiting and decided to give them a try. I would never think to order fried chicken in a Thai restaurant because.....well, it's Thai food! But I'm really glad I did. They were really good! Piping hot from the grease, they were nice and crispy. What really sets these off is the flavor. It's clear they were well marinated because the meat had such a wonderful flavor. I didn't need sauce or anything to eat with these. I tossed the sweet chili sauce that came with them and proceeded to massacre the wings....well done Thai Emerald, well done!

I also ordered the pad see ew with chicken. I appreciate that it had some true heat to the spice, which is very different than some other Asian restaurants in the area that wimp out on the spice levels. It had a good amount of vegetables and a nice flavor to the sauce. It was also served with a rice and chicken soup, and a spring roll for lunch. I ordered a sweetened ice tea that was done really well....not bitter and not too sweet. I'm sure I had way too many glasses of tea than I should have.

I'll be returning again to try the pad thai, and I'm sure another order of wings. Customer service was really good and the ladies there go above and beyond to care for their patrons. The prices were pretty reasonable and I would definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is no handicapped parking for this restaurant, unfortunately. The entryway is also pretty snug and may be difficult for a wheelchair to maneuver.

We were looking for a good Thai restaurant and think we found one. We both had the green curry lunch special and Thai coffee. It was all delicious; just the right amount of heat and very tasty.

The restaurant was clean and service prompt and courteous. We will be back!

I always enjoy a restaurant that is clean, and this one fits the bill! The service was good, so those two aspects get five stars.

The food was good, but not five star good.

The fresh rolls were a big disappointment. They were mostly lettuce with only one tiny piece of shrimp in each piece. Definitely not worth what they charged us for them. Additionally, the hoisin sauce was too thick and not enjoyable at all

I also had the Thai curry, which was just okay.

Would highly recommend this place. I used to go to a Thai place for years in charlotte and they closed. They were always so good but when they closed I found this place and it’s better than the place I used to go to. Their food is very fresh and reasonably priced. The house noodles are amazing and will continue to come here for them.

They seem to be slipping with food taste and quality on us. Last 2 times we got dinner taken out, have been just ok.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten Intolerant. No issues ever at this restaurant.

Their Panang Curry was so yummy! It was spicy, but not over the top. I asked them not to give me supercharged heat. They listened.

I eat Thai whenever I can, and this place is simply the best. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is affordable and exemplary. Forgive the pun, but Thai Emerald is truly a hidden gem. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
