We've eaten here many times since moving to the area. The food taste, quality, portions, temperature, presentation, service, dining room comfort, and staff are all superior. We value being served extremely courteously and on china and glassware not plastic. Large menu is available and everything is completely delicious. Casual dress is fine. We are blown away with the consistency in excellence. And cost will not break the bank, so it is a frequent pleasure to visit. We have made a list of friends with whom to share the experience!

My wife and I are in Charlotte for 2 nights and ate here tonight. I had the Thai Royal Chicken and my wife had a vegetable dish (forget the name). The brown sauce they cooked the chicken in was really tasty. We both loved it. And we paid extra for fried rice and we both enjoyed that very much as well. The vegetable plate was tasty too. Great experience and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

My wife and I enjoy Thai food and have tried many different Thai restaurants through the years. Thai Emerald is a bit of a distance from us, but we decided to check it out. We are SO glad we did. It was amazing! We tried two appetizers because they sounded good and found variations of our favorite entrees on their menu. It was a culinary treat and the service was fast and attentive. Put Thai Emerald on your to-do list.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian appetizers and Tofu is an available protein for nearly all the entrees.

I live in Charlotte and don't find myself in Huntersville often. Tonight however, I found myself near Northcross in Huntersville and hungry. I had a craving for Thai food and decided to give Thai Emerald a try. I'm so glad I did. Entering the cozy restaurant I was instantly greeted and seated. Drinks and appetizers came out fast and were yummy. It didn't take long for my entree to appear either and every bite was amazing. I'm a fan, and yes, I'll be back. The server, hostess, and even Derek the owner, came by our table throughout the meal to check on us. Yep. They're the best. I had a tiny bit remaining that I brought home and will now have to fight my husband for. Ha! I've already sent a message to one of my church friends that we're taking them to our new Thai discovery. Huntersville, you have a winner.

Very good service and food! Simple, nostalgic food with great flavor. The yellow curry was good with a little heat and the pad Thai was very flavorful. Typical inside dining room and it was very clean.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. The worst I've ever encountered- and that's saying a lot! I called to order over the phone and the guy who picked up was rude from the start. I asked about the papaya salad and he didn't know if they could change it or make it Lao style. I asked if the beef yeum is similar to Nam Tok - he didn't know. I asked if he could ask someone and he took a big sigh and said "none of us know cause we ain't Lao, we're Thai" Dude - Nam Tok is a Thai dish! I hung up cause I knew the conversation wasn't going to be good from here. The guy had the nerve to call me back and say "you hung up. You still want to order or no?" I told him "no. You're rude and I have no interest in giving you my money. Don't call back again" and hung up. Wow. Just ridiculous. I've passed by this place many times and always wanted to try it but was hesitant because their parking lot is always empty. Now I know why. SMH.
