My fiancé and I stopped by for our first visit at Rock of Ages and we were not disappointed. The tasting was inexpensive and personalized. Our server, Jimmy, was comical and did a great job explaining every wine to us. We look forward to going again.

Lovely vineyard about 1/2 hour north of Durham. Ample inside and outside space so no matter the weather there is plenty of room to relax and enjoy a tasting or a bottle of wine with friends. Staff is very knowledgeable about the wines. There is a nice variety of red/white and sweet/dry/fruit wines. During the summer they also offer wine slushies.Some snacks are available ( cheese, crackers, chips) but not a lot, so if you are looking to picnic be sure to bring lunch.A great place to spend an afternoon or take company visiting the area.

Me and my bestie drove here today and had a wonderful time. Brenda helped us with the wine tasting and she was all smiles and so nice. She made the whole experience so fun. The atmosphere was so amazing. Me and my friend bought a bottle of cold wine and went and sat on the top deck outside. It was a gorgeous day. We each bought 12 bottles bc of the discount and we already planned another trip here in September. We had a wonderful trip there and then to the tanger outlets in Mebane to shop. Makes for a wonderful day trip

I usually have the same wine when I go there, but today I tryed something different so I tryed Chateau white. Rock of Ages winery is a very relaxing experience and their host/hostess are great people too! Especially Jimmy! He is one of their most enthusiastic staff member’s with a great sense of humor (keeps you laughing) & is very knowledgeable about the RoA wines! He is welcoming & we look forward to coming back again & again! From the time you walk into the tasting area, the atmosphere is very relaxing, the hospitality is great and the different varieties of wines makes for an amazing experience! It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Back off the road and peaceful makes it the perfect place to sit and sip their delicious wines . Red Mountain Red is my husband's favorite. All the staff are wonderful. The rock star of the place though is Jimmy . He is always a delight. We highly recommend.

I’ve had Rock of Ages Wines at the Got to Be NC Festival and at the NC Muscadine festival, so we decided to come check out their winery. We received great customer service at both festivals and we were hoping to have the same experience at the winery.We recently visited the winery on a weekday and when we arrived after 1:30 pm the doors were locked. We were the only guests there at the time, but the gentleman working did later come to the door to let us in. Our visit started off awkwardly due to the server’s sarcasm but the visit did improve. We enjoyed our wines during the tasting. My recommendation would be to ensure each customer receives a warm and friendly welcome when they arrive.

Recently went with my mom and best friend for a tasting. After the tasting we each got a glass of our favorite and sat down to chat and enjoy some local cheese, crackers, and snacks! We will definitely be coming back!!
