One of my all-time favorite spots for a quiet and healthy Greek lunch or dinner. My favorite is the Village Greek with gyro, they give me fresh sliced lemon for my dressing. There isn't lettuce in it, it includes amazing stuffed grape leaves, cucumbers, tomatoes onion, green pepper and feta cheese. I enjoy the pita bread in the taziki sauce. I have also had the feta burger, the spanakopita and they serve wine and beer as well as other beverages. I have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for any dish I've ordered they are very quick in the food is very fresh.
Ordered gyro pita with fries to go. I ordered extra meat and not quite sure whether I got extra meat or not but it was really good regardless. Fries were good too. The cheesecake with caramel was very good. Service was quick and friendly.

Had dinner at Athenian Grill in Indian Trail yesterday. It's been a a while since we've eaten there, really happy it's stayed the same! It's not fancy food, but really good, home-cooked Greek food with excellent portions and you cannot beat the price. We tried so many different dishes we didn't get to dessert, but if memory serves? They are also very good! Nice to see the owner is still at the grill, excellent service as always, and not for anything? The Greek chicken wings are amazing! My only regret is we didn't order more of them. His secret is he bakes them and then fries. Seasoning, portions and tenderness? One of our favorites for sure! Really good fried shrimp platter, fresh, perfectly cooked, recommend trying it. The chicken souvlaki over rice was tender and flavorful. Gyro was on par and I had to have Greek stuffed hamburger, which is my go to. We wanted to try out a few sides, so that's mustard-based potato salad, pasta, salad, and fried okra. Not bad, but the Greek fries are the best and of course you can't go wrong with a Greek salad. We love the tzatziki and pretty much put it on everything. It's great even with the baked pita. All in all really good comfort, food, and worth a visit. You see a lot of regulars in there, which should tell you something!

I don’t find myself in Indian Trail much, but this place was great.Staff was very pleasant and attentive. Food came out quick, was quite tasty, and huge portions. All for a really reasonable price. Including tip (I was waited on), it was cheaper than getting one of those fancy salads uptown.Definitely worth checking out.

I have been coming here for a couple of years now with my three children. Our food is consistently delicious and, our usual server Jodi is always warm and so kind to my children. She is the reason my children keep voting for dinner at AGWe all love coming here for dinner. The prices are great and their hours are suitable.
