My husband ordered a caramel cake, and I can’t say enough great things about it—or about the wonderful couple who made it! The cake was absolutely perfect, with the most delicious flavor. The owners were so kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable about everything they offer. I’ll definitely be recommending them to everyone!

The Pound Cakes are Very Good. The Coconut Cake is not good at this Location. The Icing is Horrible on the Coconut Cake. I will never ever purchase this again. The Chocolate Ebony Cake the Icing is way too sweet and the Cake itself tastes DRY. The Pineapple Sunshine Cake is good. I never purchase the Peach Cobbler here because it does not look appetizing.
Definitely will not be purchasing anything from this business anytime soon.

I purchased a 9" Vanilla cake from Cake Affect after trying some absolutely delicious cup cakes. I know that love is used when baking these goods but I think unfortunately with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season something went wrong with my cake. The icing was delicious but the cake itself was very dry, as if an ingredient was accidentally left out. I gave a piece to a family member to taste just to see if I was being sensitive and he spit it out and handed me the plate back saying "it's dry". I did call and express my concern but instead of there being any attempt to resolve or rebake my cake the lady (for the sake of it being the internet I'll leave her name out) told me she baked it personally and didn't know how it dried out. I was not rude or irate on the phone, I wanted more cake so bad that I asked about getting cupcakes. I was offered a discount of $2.16 per cupcakes from $2.50. That wasn't even %50. I didn't ask for a cake for the holiday, I could have waited. Honest mistakes are made and if I been offered the opportunity to get my cake done over I would have paid for it again. I was not offered a new cake, instead it was made clear to me that they were busy.

I go every FRI! I love this place, so happy I do not have to drive out of Indian trail for good quality homemade cake and pies! She also will make whole cakes and pies to be picked up, and also offers a rewards program. We love the pricing and Angie always has the best customer service!

Everything we've tried has been SO good! My favorite is 5 flavor pound cake and my son is obsessed with the red velvet cake. But we've tried several things and they've all been absolutely delicious. The owner is always very welcoming and friendly, too.

First off, the owner Angie is great. She was extremely professional and helpful. I ordered a Strawberry Cheesecake for a birthday party and it was an absolute hit. Everyone asked where I got it from. It was honestly the best cheesecake I've ever had. I'm tempted to order one for myself.
Went out of their way to allow my daughter and a couple friends do birthday cake and gifts in the bakery. I appreciate everything you guys did for us! Every one was kind, and accommodating… and the cake was delicious ??would recommend!
