We've been eating here a long , but this is my first review because tonight's dinner was do good. The hot and sour soup was probably the best I've had in years in the Charlotte area. It was amazing! Hot, and the brirh was thinner than what moat restaurants make..it was SOUP not gel! The Singapore Noodles were delish! Plenty of chicken,pork and shrimp. Very large order and very tasty...nice curry flavor too. My son had the beef lomein and husband had orange chicken. Both were very good and both had left overs. The egg rolls are legit as is the homemade mustard and homemade duck sauce. The staff are always very kind and happy to serve.

This is pretty excellent for the following : beef , shrimp with mixed vegetables in garlic sauce or brown sauce .Singaporian Noodles with shrimp , beef, chicken ( can add spicy)Any egg rolls especially shrimp.Beef lo meinAtmosphere is always clean and typical take out restaurant. Service is always friendly.

I ordered a large order for my family on Christmas Day, 2023. I ordered at 4:15pm and was told 40 minutes it would be ready. I show up with my brother at 4:55, the cashier said our order wasn’t ready but would you like to go ahead and pay. I paid upfront, total was $111 and I gave her a $20 cash tip because it was Christmas. At 5:25 I went up to ask my orders status, she said they were working on it. 15 minutes later at 5:40 after our patience had worn thin I went back up and tried to ask the male manager, who ignored me and walked away to do something else. The female cashier said they were getting it together. At 5:55 I go up and have to raise my voice loudly a couple times to the manager to get him to acknowledge me. He comes out with a pen and paper and starts asking what I ordered. I ask “Wait, you haven’t even started my food?” People were coming and going with their orders. I had to tell the manager “Look, I paid when I got here and you all haven’t even started the food! I want a full refund!” He literally heard me, ignored me and walked to the kitchen. At 6:18 he comes up with a box and says sorry for the wait. At this point I am livid. I don’t even argue with him about my money back and start checking to make sure the food is right. He stops me while I’m checking and says it’s correct. I say I’m just making sure since you all have messed everything up and he stops me again and puts his hand over the food. The really enraging part is I get back to the house and of course the order is not correct as he forcibly promised it was. I don’t know what type of business person he is, but the entire experience is completely inexcusable and is absolutely ridiculous. I left the restaurant at 6:20. I have ordered large orders numerous times in the past for my family, this will never happen again and I’m still angered to the point of contacting the Better Business Bureau to report the obscene treatment I received.

Best take out Chinese food in Sunvalley. Friendly staff and even during covid, they put up plastic to keep the kitchen clean of covid spreading... very thoughtful :
Hands down the best hot and sour soup on Charlotte. For all I know, it might come in a big ol can... But I have not had better any where else. The rest of the food is quite good, according to my dining companions.It's clean, convenient, and they are very friendly. There is a steady crowd at lunch and dinner.But beware... They are not open on Tuesdays. And the last time we checked, there were no delivery options, so send an Uber.

The restaurant is conveniently located in Sun Valley next to Harris Teeter (big plus). The restaurant seemed clean, but there was an employee (possibly the owner) in the dining room eating. That, of course, is not an issue, but when you're picking up your bowel and slurping your meal, in my opinion, it's not acceptable around clients. As for the food, I'll be very candid, I'm a harsh critic for Chinese food. In other words, I'm picky with flavor. I ordered the Szechuan spicy Chicken with fried rice and egg roll (lunch special), and a side of shrimp fried rice. The flavor of the Szechuan Chicken was very good and had a good zing with the spiciness. However, the fried rice was not very good. It appears that it's Mexican yellow rice, and it was flavorless. Additionally, the bowl had lots of rice at the bottow with very little of the good stuff on top. The cost for this "special" is $7.75. As you can probably imagine of my comment of the shrimp fried rice, it was not good either. The total with tax was $20. I would bypass this place if you're not too finicky like me. There's another Chinese restaurant in Matthews I would prefer to go to, and another one in Charlotte. If it's not for the traffic, I would go there every time I have a taste to indulge in Chinese.
