The most depressing meal we have eaten in Sun Valley and the broader area. I don't know where to start. The food was terrible. Who puts whole carrots into a poke bowl? One of our two proteins was omitted entirely. The sauces are all out of big vats, nothing fresh or homemade whatsoever. The sushi rolls are just heavy and filled with odd and desperately unhealthy fillings or style of preparation. And the amount of plastic waste is deplorable. Why not offer real plates and utensils? Soy sauce on the table? Ginger directly on the plate with sushi instead of putting that in plastic too?? They should be fined as it is beyond anything remotely reasonable and responsible. I cannot believe this place has the high ratings it does, in fact I cannot believe this place is open. I apologize for the harshness in this review, but I could not wrap my head around the money we spent here.

I go there all the time for my lunch break! They have the BEST poke bowls! I really also enjoy their coconut shrimp plates and veggie plates!! They are fast and friendly and never disappoint me with their food and service! A must go to!!? LOVE YOU GUUUYYYYSS!!

Tuesday was the first time that I've eaten at Kaiziku restaurant. I've eaten Japanese meals before, but not here. I had no idea what to order. Thank goodness for a great couple that came in and gave me some suggestions. I am so happy I ate here. I ordered the shrimp fried rice with vegetables and an order of crab ragoon. My dinner was delicious!!! Everyone was very polite and understanding of me being confused as to what to order!! Kaizoku Japanese Cuisine & Pike Bowl restaurant, Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!! I will be back!!! ???????

Went for Dinner, we got hibachi chicken and General Tso Chicken with noodles. Sushi, Super California Roll, and Kaizoku Roll, deep fried. The food was fast coming out and really good, the noodles had a hibachi taste. Would recommend it as a place to eat. It was really cold in the restaurant.

I got the Yummy sushi burrito (except with no tomato, and cream cheese added) and OH my goodness it was perfect. Not so big that I couldn't eat it, but also not so small that I felt like I was being cheated or that it wouldn't get me full. The yum yum sauce on the side was perfect for dipping and really complimented the ingredients well. The staff were also great, very friendly and helpful both over the phone and at pickup. I will definitely be back!

My order was to go and was still hot when I got home. It was quiet while I was there with a few people entering right before I left. The restaurant was clean.

My first time patronizing this establishment was when I submitted an online order for pickup. The order was ready when I arrived, and the pickup was hassle-free.I ordered an egg roll to snack on as soon as I got back in the car. Now, I typically never complain about portion sizes, but this egg roll was on the tiny side. Considering its taste and size, I'll grade it a C at best.The poke bowl I ordered was undeniably fair, but I couldn't help but recall the times I've had better bowls that left me doing a happy dance. The whole tomatoes on top just didn't do it for me. Some might appreciate the rustic charm, but personally, I like the convenience of pre-chopped or sliced tomatoes. The carrots were no different...served whole rather than shredded.It all boils down to personal preference. Perhaps I've become too particular, or maybe I've been spoiled by the meticulous craftsmanship of other poke bowl establishments. Nevertheless, I must commend this restaurant for its commitment to freshness. The ingredients were undoubtedly crisp and vibrant. If you're up for a fresh poke bowl experience that challenges your preconceived notions of the art of vegetable presentation, this restaurant might just be the place for you.
