I used to frequent this specific location very often, but hadn’t been in several weeks. I’ve never had any issues at all at this location until today but I also did not recognize any of the staff either. Today I decided to grab a coffee while out but my experience at the drive thru after a mobile order was awful at best. Absolutely terrible customer service. I called the store to address this and was hung up on by whomever answered my call after she ignored me when I asked for her name. All she carelessly said as I explained my issue was “Ok”. She couldn’t have cared less, and definitely shouldn’t be working customer service. Will not be visiting this location ever again.

Today I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and I realized there was no coffee taste on it.
The color was so clear showing the milk taste but the coffee was not there.
It was so bad that I decided to go in and tell her she needed to be careful when she makes this coffee.
She offered to make me another coffee, it was done same bad preparation.
I decided to go across street, the Starbucks in Harris Teeter and they did it the way it should be.

This was the worst starbucks I have ever been to. I went through the drive though and ordered 4 drinks, I forgot to order a cake pop. I get to the window and asked if I could add a cake pop because I forgot and the person at the window told me “no there is no way for me to do that you need to go back around” that is ridiculous for Starbucks/location to have people drive back around a drive through for a premade thing. Never going to this location again!!!!

I use to go to this location Everyday, sometimes twice a day. Now I go to Hwy 74. The team here use to be AMAZING!! I hardly recognized anyone yesterday, & I'm sure they didn't recognize they had guest' either, everyone was engaged in conversation w/ one another behind the counter and at the table, including Management. It has really lost it's spark, orders are inaccurate and the team doesn't greet you, thank you or even speak upon entry. This is why stopped coming to this location, this is why I won't be back.

Great people but every single drink I get from there the coffee and espresso are BURNT and taste so bad. I keep trying to give them another chance but it’s terrible. Please someone teach them how to brew coffee and espresso the right way for the sake of your customers.

I went through the drive-thru and ordered a white mocha with extra whip and my drink is literally missing 3 in of product... I get extra whip a lot and this is never the case. Not only that, but it took an extra 5 minutes to make my drink for some reason. This is almost a $7 drink so I definitely shouldn't be skimped any product. I don't understand?

Glad to see the “old ways” coming back! Steaming hot mugs and free refills, combined with the always exemplary service at this location make it a must-have part of our day!

Parking: Overflow parking available in the back. Lots of options out front.

Wheelchair accessibility: For wheelchair access, your best bet is the front door and patio. Back door is also accessible, but there are tables in the hallway too.

Sheena I believe was her name, she was so sweet and made me feel safe as a gentleman was so close to approaching my car in the drive thru. She noticed it as well and just made me feel so safe. Very sweet lady and she deserves all the gold stars!

Ordered an iced pecan oat milk latte, after I left I noticed it tasted weird and then I realized they did not add the espresso shots… it was just milk and syrup. Unfortunately I couldn’t go back and request a refund.

For the first time ever I asked for a refund at Starbucks. Either it’s the poor training, the employee, or Starbucks being so cheap they don’t want to fill up my cup I’m paying $7.20 for. I spend a lot of money at Starbucks it’s my favorite place. I travel a distance to go to Starbucks, but if I order a Vinte cup and paying good money for it. Don’t fill my cup half way and tell me it’s because I said no Ice. This is a scam. I could have just ordered a grande and had a filled cup for cheaper, but I wanted a Vinte cup. This absolutely makes me not want to visit this specific store again. Other Starbucks fill up my cup. Not try to scam me by letting me pay full price and then not fill my cup all the way because I said no ice.

Let us say first of all I am a foodie but not a coffee fiend. Oh I'm a fiend alright, but a fiend for excellent service and good quality in general. What I like about the coffee here at Starbucks is HOW IT'S SERVED - ENTHUSIASTICALLY and with smiles. Also however you like it, sweet, bitter, flavored, hot, cold, iced, frapped, au lait -- in infinite variety.
Also PEOPLE in infinite variety all of whom are WELCOME here too. Indeed one can stand and TAKE A SELFIE in front of the pleni-potentiary LGBTQ+ FLAG hanging in the back!
Is it a safe space? Sure, as long as you're not a hateful harridan with an attitude and/or with an axe to grind against folks who don't look or think or talk or worship or or love like you do. Come and fuel up on caffeine and kindness and spread it out to the world around you.
Or do like me: bring your laptop and get some work done while consuming high test caffeine and rainbow sparkles. (I don't know if they charge extra for the rainbow sparkles, but they do keep them under the counter. Allegedly!)
There are plenty of baked goods and treats to nosh on behind glass in this rather narrowly built coffee shop. But mind you don't nosh too much or you will not long be narrow yourself! We will review the treats behind the counter another day Nomnomnom.
There is plenty of parking at this chunk of the gigantic strip mall that is Sun Valley EV charging is available for folks driving electric cars just a short stroll away.
The drive-thru is seemingly always busy, but there's rarely a very long wait. The fellow who handles the crowd in the morning is super enthusiastic, very friendly, and generous with his smile. What a great crew Store Manager Antwayne Terry-McNeil has the good fortune to work with here including Susan, Ty, Brenda and Amanda! Then again, they say you MAKE YOUR OWN LUCK!
Service animals are welcome but smoking is not; that way you and your animal pal can enjoy FRESH air out front together and watch the crowd go by. (Probably best not to give your border collie too much caffeine, though.) There is a covered porch in the back, by the way, with tables and outlets nearby.
It's currently pumpkin spice season, to which we say - "yuk" but also pecan flavor time too at Starbucks to which we say "don't mind if we do!"
Roll on up and get yourself a Cup o Joe here at Starbucks in Sun Valley, Indian Trail North Carolina and tell them we sent you. (We ‍ DOUBLE-RAINBOW-DOG-DARE ‍you to!)
