Absolutely love this place. The staff is always friendly and there's fun stuff happening all the time here.
Sweet Union is hands down one of my favorite places. The beers are great, but what really makes this place special is the people. The staff is always incredibly welcoming and friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about creating a fun, comfortable environment for everyone who walks in. They go above and beyond with thoughtful events like movie nights and bingo that make Sweet Union feel like a true community space.
Huge shoutout to the dream team: Rachel, Denice, and John John. They truly make the experience what it is. Denice does an amazing job hosting trivia, she keeps it fun, engaging, and well-organized, which makes it something I always look forward to. Whether you’re there for a drink, an event, or just to hang out, Sweet Union consistently delivers great vibes and even better people. Can’t recommend it enough.
Nice experience with local beers.
My favorite place for local brews and locally roasted coffees. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly!
I have been to many famous breweries in Charlotte/Asheville and honestly the beer here is incredible. The IPA, Sours, Blonde Ales, and Stouts were all excellent and had the best flavor notes I have had in a long time. Definitely going to start coming here every other week. Also, the staff is incredibly nice and extremely welcoming.
Absolutely a blast every time we come! Friendly staff! Great drinks Jon Jon and Rachel always take care of me! Thursday and Sunday at 8 Denice does an amazing job with trivia and makes it fun!
The Sweater Chest Winter Warmer was exactly as advertised. Malty, high alcohol, and perfect for being around your family around the holidays.
The Indian Trail Pale Ale is light and easy to drink.
The Plum Apricot sour is very sour.
Should've Been A Frog was a delicious, extremely hoppy, citrusy IPA.
Galactic Pterodactyl is very hoppy, very hazy, bitter and delicious.
The Astro Pterodactyl is their main go-to IPA and its always good.
The No Cream No Sugar Coffee Blonde is another staple of theirs and it always hits. Creamy, sweet, with a hint of coffee.
The Bloody Tarleton is back after dissapearing for a while and its one of my favorites. It's a dark lager with a ton of flavor and a little malty sweetness.
What a great place to hang out, drink a glass of wine, hard cider or beer and play Mah jongg!
My friends and I come to sweet union on Thursdays whenever we’re all free for trivia and it’s one of our absolute favorite activities. The staff is so kind and the trivia emcee, Denise, is so cool. They have a different food truck outside every week that’s always good, and their coffee and beer is always phenomenal.
Great beer and better people.

Ample selection of locally sourced craft beers. Love the atmosphere with pinball machines & board games to play. Friendly staff, decent prices, family friendly also!
Best atmosphere around for having a great beer, amazing coffee, or playing pinball
Highly recommend. their beer is excellent. Friendly staff as soon you walk in the door.
My husband and I LOVE it here. We try to come once every couple weeks. Not only is the beer amazing, but the staff is kind and helpful. They also happen to have a claw machine filled with rubber ducks that sparks an obscene amount of joy. We highly recommend you stop for a beer or two. They also fill growlers, so that’s a win.
Love, Sweet Union Brewing in Indian Trail. Such an amazing space. They had a great beer selection, they had a lot of different things. They also had their own coffee where you could buy beans, grind them and bring them home! The service was spectacular also!! The bartender was very friendly! They are also dog friendly which is a big plus! Can’t wait to go back
